athena grabbed my arm on the 4^th day of camp and attacked my stomach. She's beautiful and powerful and sweet and silly and she's an amazing person I'd love to get to know better. much peace,

Athena is amazing. She grabbed me on the first day of camp and told me I was her new best friend. She's absolutely beautiful, interesting, intelligent, talented, honest, friendly, with this amazing energy that just radiate's around her. I could go on for pages about how incredible she is. Athena is an amazing dancer. She's flexible (good lord, is she flexible), and strong, and graceful, and the fluidity with which she dances and moves and the poise with which she walks and carries herself is something to see. She's really incredible. I love Athena.

April is a person who knows what she wants in life. And I don't mean that as in she's got her future all planned out, but in that she's going to be successful in pursueing what makes her happy. She's clear and straightforward, but also flexible (in body as well as in spirit!). When I think of her I think of fall leaves and clear water and faerienymphs, because that's so much what she is. Not only is she a wonderful compliment to her very cool siblings Sarabeth and Jake, but she is very much her own person! I missed her at camp this year! -wanderlust

I met April once and for only a short while, but I know this about her... she is very, very athletic and very, very flexible! She shinnied up a tall rope as if it were no problem at all, and she has impressive endurance, proved by her bikeriding experiences. Fuzzhead

Wow! April is *wow*! She leaves me proud of today's youth and firmly bashes the ideas of what teenage girls could appear to be. Her poetry leaves me in awe, as does her dancing. April is light, and April is brave and April makes me smile! -Mother Shippy

I remember recently at Hulbert she responded to something someone said in a very odd and amusing way, and I started laughing hysterically for a really long time. For some reason I think I'll always remember that. -courtney

Athena, Athena. *giggle giggle* I want your body! I miss her muchly. She ended up being one of my closest friends at camp. I can go to her with anything. She's beautiful and talented and giggly as all hell. *snap snap snap* *point point point* *grin* (love you athena.) jessica

The phrase "full of energy" dosn't even begin to describe Athena! I have never seen anyone with as much energy as her. She has the stuff coming out of her ears!!! The only time she sits still is when playing piano. Which brings me to her amazing piano skills! When ever I heard someone play piano in the lodge, I would go over to listen. And 70 percent of the time, it was Athena playing! It was great singing along to Beatles and everything else she played. And one last thing... Dancing. Athena is one of the most amazing dancers I have ever seen. I'm not even going to try to deccribe her dancing. All I'm going to say is that Athena dancing is like Athena her self. Beautiful in every way. -The LHF
