| Blue Ribbon In My Hair |
I have a blue ribbon in my hair. It's got a nice double meaning, truly. It's a gender-mix. Guys don't wear ribbons in their hair, do they? Hah! I'm as much for guy's equality as women's... I am a feminist, and equally much a humanist... and somewhat of whatever you call someone who stands up for men's rights, though I'm a little jaded about guys in general. So, I have a ribbon in my hair.
It's a blue ribbon. Free speech. Like the little pink ribbons to point out that breast cancer needs awareness... or the little pink triangles speaking about homosexuality.
I like subtle symbology, just present enough to invade the subconcious.
Hey, when you said that you instantly reminded me of a beautiful song...I'll post the lyrics, I think...
SappyLoveSongs (by John McCutcheon)
- or the last line of Box Of Rain "It is just a box of rain, or a ribbon for your hair, such a long long time to be gone, and a short time to be there"
