I think I'm to sleepy to put what Heather means to me into words. But I think Heather knows how much she means to me and that will have to do for now. -The LHF

Heather is a beautiful, multi-colored hair, loving, witty, poetic, sometimes hyper, full of energy girl. she is always running around with faerie wings with a posotively bouncey energy. I love everything she has ever done for me, stuffing my pockets full of toilet paper as I leave for the bus crying and hugging everyone struggling to say goodbye, giving me wonderful hugs and comforting me after the Power Shuffle. She is truly unique and a caring person. The purple tulip amisdt a field of yellow poppies surrounded by tall pine trees, a oasis with a sky full of blue with wispy white clouds brushed across it, a wonderful alive feeling that you could just lie there and drink in. She has strong determination and is open and easy to talk to, and writes such amazing, flowing poetry. I love you Heather, ~mike

I adore Heather. I love and admire her strength, her rawness, her beauty, her tendrils of purple hair, her big eyes and glittering wings. She writes damn good poetry. She's so full of life when I see her. She says things that crack me up (like all the Smith girls.) She shines, but not in a way that feels false. She's an angel but not a one-dimensional one; she covers a spectrum of beauty, sadness, and happiness, and lets it show. I love Heather.

heather the lovely little cutey canadian she is, came and visited us coloradians this past june. she was here for my birthday. she's got to be one of my bestest best friends. i love her so much. and one night camping with her and all the other peeps that came out for ruthy's thingy i wrote a poem about her. and she asked for a copy of it to bring home. but i never did end up copying it for her. so lovely. here you are. right on your radness page.

Dawn says she would trust me fully to be stuck in an elevator with her little sister. I take that as the greatest of compliments, but on further reflection I would extend the principle and say that Heather falls high on my list of people who I would be willing to get stuck in an elevator with. She is intelligent and enlightened in mannerism, beautiful in body, hair and spirit, and always, always kind. woman, one part free-spirited young girl, and all-around strong like a rock. She is articulate, incredibly intelligent, and very, very, very beautiful. I remember talking with her one night it may have been after the power shuffle and being blown away by her strength of character. I think she'd make a good president. If there were one person from camp I'd want cyrogenically (sp?) frozen and preserved forever as a testement to the human spirit, I would choose her. Perhaps someday she will write a book, and we will all get her to sign it and be able to say, "I know Heather Smith, back when she was unknown and young!" twenty years later. I know Heather's going through some serious shit right now, and I wish there was some way to drive through her skull just how much she means to Camp and the world and... and... and me, dammit! Heather rocks my world!!! I love her! She is infinitely huggable, very strong and direct and honest. I remember being on the trampoline with her and Mical at Theory on the last night she was there, it was dark but all the christmas lights that led down to the little cottage were lit, and we were jumping up and down and talking about life, the universe, etc, in this dim fairy light. I felt that if I needed to I would always have Heather's shoulder to cry on. (I didn't, I just fell asleep against her knees, but that's another story.) ~Rosie

I'm so lucky that I got to talk to Heather at camp. There is so much wisdom and just plain intelligence inside of her which makes it hard to belive she's just 13. No, that's not quite all I have to say. Six months ago, you had no identity to me apart from being my girlfriend's younger sister. Now I can think of very few people I trust and value more than you. Heather, I don't know how long it's going to take you to really believe this, but... You're All Right. You're quite a lot better than all right, as a matter of fact. I know that's hard to realize. It is for me, too. I think is for everyone at some point. Chances are most of us believe, at least once in our lives, that our friends are cool and happy and have it all together and we're more or less screwed. Bah. We're all so so so much better than we think we are. You and I and lots of people feel like all the love we give is just a cover for our despicable true selves. My love for Heather goes further than the top of the stars. She is a lot of things, but most of all she is Spirit. There are few people that I feel totally comfortable around, people who I trust completely, but she is one of them. Hell yeah. I love you baby

Heather reminds me of a fairy! I feel kind of bad because the past couple of times I've posted on Wiki it's been to disagree with something Heather said. Which is tough, because the girl is AWESOME! And it's not even that I disagree with anything she says because it's BAD or anything... it's more just like, a differing of opinion. I admire that a lot in her actually, her strength of opinion that is. She sticks to her guns! Boy-howdy! And she isn't afraid to speak out when the going gets tough.
