... first of all, an amazing dancer. The dance she did on the trapeze thing at the last talent show was the most beautiful, incredible thing I've ever seen in my life. The cob oven is also really really cool and I wish I had had a chance to work on it. Playing in the mud, yeah! -marina

Kyla is cob and mud and bare feet, and trapezes and golden balancing in the moonlight. She is like running water in the day, fields in the sun, picnic benches and paper and colors like yellow and blue and grey. -wanderlust

Cool, Kyla! On the first day of the first Not Back To School Camp, my mom and I were sitting in the Eugene bus station. Someone cool-looking with a clipboard and a great shirt comes up and says "Are you going to Not back To School Camp?". That's still what I think of when I see you. Ohh, and building the strawbale house. And the cob oven. And . . . you get the idea. Charlie

I was so glad that Kyla was my advisor this year. She's really easy to talk to about practically anything and she did an awesome trapeze dance and made the incredibly cool cob oven!!! ~Franny~
