Dhe Vhindand Dhe Lion

 I looked into the glass
 And saw a face
 A creamy white face
 Glowing cheeks
 Dark hair
 And 'tisn't I
 I am not that
 Gorgeous. I can say it.
 A sweet is she
 Gorgeous face
 For it isn't me

 I am not that
I am but a lowly Spirit, a Sprite, a Mixie
Trickster laughing bodiless ugly thing always rough
I take no care of this veil
 For it is not mine
Wrapped in a maid's body, inhibiting her loveliness
 Painting purple under her eyes
 Making them tortured
 Twisting her smile
She would make lovely gestures and smile sweetly
When I release her body to her once more

I look into the glass and see
Two bright green eyes back at me
 The figure tosses her mane
 Too proudly
 Too be human child
Only you and I know she is a Lion.
