| Dry Ice |
Frozen carbon dioxide, or Dry Ice (called such, for it will go right from a solid to a gas, when it melts)
some of the wonderfull uses for dry ice, becides keeping things cold, incudes:
- makeing home made soda (drops some in a open contaner of a sweetened "tea" or mix of juices.
- dry ice bombs, put a few peices in a plactic soda bottle, add water (till it is almost full, about 2-2.5 inches from the top), screw on cap tightly, and tose as far away as you can, into an open clearning, and wait for it to burst (up to 3 minuts) when doing this, be VERY carful, use gloves, or tongs, when handing dry ice, for it is VERY cold, and will give frost bite almost instantly!
- And sometimes if part of the plastic bottle is weaker than the rest of it that part will break first making a jet stream kinda thing and the bottle turns into a rocket and is flys around like crazy and it's really cool! Yeah. -Susannah
