Questions about Australia:

• How much is the flight there?
• Depends on whether I go with a program, fly courier, fly charter..
• What are my expenses?
• In Oz: food, rent or hostel, transportation..
• Will I have enough money for onward travel?
• What is the best exchange program for me?
• Something where I can work for a few months, travel for a few more, and work again if I need to. I like this one: http://www.bunac.org/usa/default.asp
• How long does it take to get a work visa?
• What kind of work visa should I get?
• I'm thinking the "special youth" visa, where I can work for four months and then travel for three. I could get it extended, maybe.
• How do I apply for one?
• Can I get it extended, if needed?
• What other papers do I need in order?
• Where should I work?
• I'd like to work in an orchard, or greenhouse, farm... but I won't be too picky.
• How do I set up a bank account over there?
• Who do I know in the area?
• The Banks-Watson family, Ingrid from New Zealand..
• What transportation does Australia have, local and national?
• Can I fly courier out of Australia?

General Travelling Questions:

• What should I bring?
• I think I know the answers to this already.
• What "under the table" jobs are there in other countries?
• I heard there are many in hostels/hotels, bartending, waittressing..
• What travel books should I read? What are the best websites?
• I have too much information on this. Aaaarg!
• What food is best to eat while travelling? And cheapest?
• Should I have traveller's checks?
• What kind of resource centers would I look for in other countries?
• American embassy, I think. Anything else?
• Can I get work visas in other countries, besides Australia, if I'm not in America at the time?
• Can I study in other countries without any student exchange programs?
