Fiddle Boy

Adrian's quite a bit of all-right. -- Charlie.

I find it hard to describe Adrian without the help of these old native-american words that if you were to spell phonetically would go something like: "Weepwah, weepwah sonohapo." A very rough translation would be "Adrian is a great guy." - Jonah

Franny has also heard (like emily and candra who were in the same advisee group) that Adrian gives great back massages. Who in the group always ended up in front of Adrian?? Anyway i am so glad i was in his advisee group! He's a great person to talk to and his music totally blows me away! ~Franny~

Adrian is a fun Canadian boy who plays a pretty nifty fiddle. (understatement.) Entirely too adorable for his own good and gives great post-Power Shuffle hugs. Adrian is definitely not on my hit list. nods to self. --Ali

Adrian is so awesome, I was so lucky to have him in my advisee group this year! He always has a smile on his way-too-sexy face, and didn't get too mad at me when I broke the string on his violin (I'm sending you another one, I swear!), and of course, he's an awesome fiddle player. And he gives awesome massages (so I'm told. Some people in our group were selfish and didn't let me get a turn with him :-) )--Candra

canadain eh? dam straight!! you toatly rock from start to finsh. you tryed to fold a crain but the blondness in your hair made you not able and you still kept you cool. i nead to know you more, a lot more :) there is always next year. come again :)love you forever

      -Heather

Adrian rocks! he gives great hugs and great massages (so i've heard, yet to find out) and he has great hair and he's really cute and he's awesome on the fiddle. and yeah, so basically adrian just all around rocks. - EmilyOh

Rock on fiddle boy. Hmmmm. Let's see. Hillarious, cute, a musical genious. I think from now on we should all call him "The Fiddle Master". --Brent

FUN!!!!!!! And cute and talented and FUN! I could have a blast with him no matter where I'm at, be it a jewelry store in the mall, the shitty Greyhound bus station in downtown Dallas, walking endlessly in a random direction trying to find Naomi's house, etc. :-) I am flooded with good memories when I think about his visit, and any of the times I've seen him or talked to him. (-courtney)

Arriba! Adrian is a sweetie, a cutie, a fun-filled blue-haired boy o delight. He amuses and astounds me!!!!!! I could send him a million hugs and it'd never be enough.... Mwah Mwah Mwah to the beautiful boy! (~summer)

Yes, 'fun' is the exact word to describe him! Very imaginative, and very cute. I like the way he talks too. And he gives awesome back masages! And it is fun to give masages back :) -Erin

Adrian is the kind of person who constantly seems to be able to come up with something fun and cool to do. Like, you could be sat on a street corner with him and somehow he'd be able to make it cool and fun. Fun. That's Adrian to a tee! And let's not forget his AWESOME talent when it comes to things such as music.. and his Adam Sandler impersonation is just classic. Adrian's a bitchin' guy! And he's funny too! Whoo! - Sez Zen

aye yi, adrian is a super-rad cute canadian who can fiddle like a crazy-cat. he can probably sing, too, and dance, and cook, and paint, and write novels, and fix the plumbing. yah, adrian's a great human being, and he says funny stuff like 'eh', and shit. he's a total skank ;) my sister was late to pick me up, and him and i were talking and he's all about "Good Night Moon" just like me, so of course he's gotta be rad. yahoo! ~naomi the moth~

I don't know Adrian that well. But what I do know about him, is that he's awesome! he's so cute, and so cool. he's great to talk too. he's got a great voice. I cannot wait to meet him!! he's just so.. yeah! very cool sweety boy!! -Lydia R.

Hugely talented, as everyone knows. I didn't realize how much I would miss hearing him play! Also a very friendly person, which is good, because more people get to see how cool he is. - Naela

I like Adrian alot. - Jonah (concise) Gray

Adrian's really cool. He seems to be able to play any musical instrument there is, and very well too! He's cute and fun and has bright blue hair and was nice to me at the end of camp. And oh my god does he take good photos.... wow... -wanderlust

Adrian is wonderful to hand around with! he has the coolest parental units ever and he is counted as one of the campers i adore and dont bother trying to keep track of as every time i turn around he is off in a different place other then victoria bc! he also takes amazing pictures and listens well. adrain is a kick ass unschoolers!! love shippy

adrian could have a swelled head, but he doesn't. he's just a genuinely nice canadian boy. he rocks on the fiddle, and practically every other instrument. plus he gets giggly if you keep him up too late. fun, fun! --jessica (wb)

Adrian is really cute when he pretends like he's not talented. -Susannah

I am seriously in awe of Adrian. I am amazed at how easily and quickly he wrote down the music to 'Two Ladies' and played it that night. And yet he manages to act like a normal person. Well, a 'normal' unschooler anyway. :) he's very sweet and cute, and I would absolutely love to really talk with him sometime. --marina

adrian is da guy with theblue hair who absolutely kicks ass at pool, violin, piano (let me tell ya: he deprived me of sleep on the sleep-in night by playing really cool music, just jammin' away by himself on the piano, that was so good that i couldn't leave. bastard.), and he is from canada, and i just think he is about the most inpiring musician i've ever seen... he just kicks ass!~alex bw

What can I say about Adrian that hasn't already been said? :) Though I have to say he wasn't freaked when I told him I love guys named Adrian. Every time I saw him around camp he was friendly, nice, smiling, etc. and hanging out with a group of people! Very inspiring and talented musician... has to be one of the coolest guys around.

adding to that: i heard rumors that he's coming to candra's new years thing. i never have spoken to him since camp (99), and that would be great to see/talk to him again (although him remembering me is slim). =) --Tiffany

Adrian is AWESOME!! I actually got to hang out with him now and boy am I glad I did. I mean Blue Apple Sauce!! Adrian Rules!! I mean when you talk about people who RULE, he should most definately be on your list. Deer in head lights, underpants gnomes, and anything musical are all thing I now associate with this really one-of-a-kind guy. I Extremly look forward to seeing him again sometime.

          § Matt H

Adrian wrote something really lame about me, so I'll write something really lame about him...Okay well I can't think of anything lame to say about Adrian...so never mind. Alright, so yeah, Adrian is a spas. He's so sweet and cuddly, and you never know what he's gonna do or say or fart or put in a tire next. I think of him every day now because one afternoon he used my really smelly hair gell, so now whenever I smell it I think of him. I love him more than Blue's Clues Apple sauce and he's the coolest deer in headlights I've ever met!

  Lovya! ~Melanie

adrian is a sweetie. he gives wonderful hugs and backrubs, takes stunning photgraphs and is one of the most talented musical peoples i've met. he's really open and honest...and i adore talking to him. plus, he's canadian! smooches~sarah~

Adrian be way to cool for his own good, the first Canadian I couldn?t make jokes at, the first guy with perfect pitch I don?t just disparately despise. He?s cute like a brand-spanken?-new-Sea-Green-photo-flame stratocaster with a hot wound bridge (and that?s pretty dammed cute) he be good enough to fill his music with emotion and not just notes, although I must say the notes are fairly well picked as well, good enough on strings to almost single-handedly get me addicted to playing fiddle. He gives kick ass hugs, that I miss just way too much, has loads to say, is a greeennnn cool pool player, and takes amazing photos. Love ya like green felt and Coffee sweetsbaby!--Lotus

adrian is one of my favourite people. there's something about him that's just so amazing to me. he's so kind and so funny but also is ready there with a strong hand if i'm shaking a little too much. he's also so talented and when i watch him play his music is just so filled with himself that it makes me smile. i hope someday i can learn something from him. i wish canada wasn't so far away or i didn't live in pennsylvania.. i just wish i could share more moments with adrian. moments of every kind, because he's a constant inspiration to me. i miss him so much already, and it's been not-that-long. i love you adrian--rachel

I really wish I'd gotten to know Adrian better. He seems like a really neat person. ~gabrielle

But really. A few excellent things about Adrian: ~the ability to be very very silly and hilarious, but also very very conversational and sensitive. which is good. because I have had some lovely conversations with the boy, because he can listen. and talk. which is good. ~his massages. god damn need I say more? ~his mad music skills. I feel both intimidated and beyond fortunate to be able to call someone as (brace yourself for silly musician word) virtuosic as Adrian my friend. He deserves to go ever so far in life and love (hee!) and I wish him the best forever. ~love you, gabrielle

Adrian is beautiful. And when I see him next, I hereby swear we will speak at length. I'm probably going to trek up to Canada some day soon and see all you krazy folk, so expect that to be the NEAR future. Additionally, his smile is utterly infectious. La la la. -Maggie

Adrian, let me just say this: I'm awfully glad that I kidnapped you on the last day of camp! (or was it a mutual kidnapping?) Anyhow, I loved talking to you...I feel really at ease talking to you, as though I can say anything. One of the first things I noticed about you was your wonderful aura of outgoingness (is that a word?) and sweetness. You're extremely talented, (I always loved hearing you play) funny, sweet, intelligent and damn adorable. I want to get to know you more... ~Becky~

Oh Adrian....what can I say? You are even more delicous tahn Durian. I love
you. You are wonderful. And you let me play your violin!!!! YAY! Whenever Im
near you (yeah, ya know, cuz I'm in Candada just sooo much....) I'm coming
to your house and im kidnaping you...and there ain't a damn thing you can do
about it. See ya then...

Abbi

there's so much to say about adrian. even after i burnt my finger cooking his fake chicken nuggets, after i spent $4 bucks on a copy of Goodnight Moon for him while he was on the road, after he started the abominable trend of dropping one's pants mid-stride in front of everyone... after all of this, here i sit, admitting to my undying love for this fiddlin' once-blue-haired, lambchopped, Viking Canadian Bacon of a boy. this loud-mouthed peice of eye-candy! it filled my heart to spend time with him at camp, after missing him for more than a year, and i was flattered beyond repair when he offered to be my escort to the prom. but now i miss you, lad, and want you to know that i love you very much. Eh. ~naomi
