Update, March 5th 2002 I started looking into how much it's going to cost me to do this, and it's more expensive than I thought. So copies of this thing are going to be anywhere from $2-$5 a copy for b&w, or $6-$10 a copy for color. I'm probably going to do both, but it depends on how many pictures I get. I still only have 7 pictures from people (myself included), and a lot more than that said that they were interested, so if you could start getting them to me, I'd appreciate it.
Okay. So I got this great idea quite a while back to make a book full of pictures of campers as babies or small children. I decided it was not that great an idea, so I put it on the back shelf of my brain to collect dust. Then, at Marina's party, we (Kathleen, Becky, and I) were going through old photo albums and looking at pictures of Marina and Ethan as babies (especially this one of Marina... *shuts up*), and I told Becky and Kathleen about my idea, and they thought it sounded cool. So, what I propose is that those of you who have scanners scan and e-mail me them (do not post them somewhere, because then people will know who's who, and that's coming lateR). If you don't have a scanner, if it's possible to send me a copy, I'll scan it and mail it back to you. The next part explains why you're not posting them anywhere. I'm going to (digitally) put numbers in the corners of each picture, and in the BACK will be a guide to who's who. That way, you can try 'n' guess who's who. So whaddaya' think? I'd have to charge about $1 or $2 for copies, just because it's exPENSIVE to copy a lot of sheets of pictures and then mail them all after making them into a book, but... yeah. Let me know what you think, and I can start to actually work on it. I'm going to give people until a month or two after camp to get them to me, just so that I can announce it to people who aren't on Wiki. The pictures should be of you when you're about between 1 and 3. Prefferably embarrassing pictures *grins*, but that's not a requirement. Hehe. Either color or black and white is fine, but everything will be "grayscaled" once I get it onto my computer, because black and white is cheaper to print. So if you find a picture and like it because of the colors and want it in the book, be forewarned that it's going to be in black and white. If you have any other questions, post them, and I'll answer them. ..yeah. Just makes sense to post them as opposed to e-mailing them, because then I don't have to answer the same question twice. people who think Fiona's project sounds cool
Okay, cool. Now start sending me stuff! I made a box for the pictures and everything. I've already got mine... and I've got one of Dan F. that I'm going to use if he doesn't give me a better one..... *grins*
