| Gens Trip To Europe |
So I just got back from England and Germany. It was extremely cool. I have never been out of the country before. First was England where we stayed with family. My cousin took me to a "disco" which is a dance for 13-17 yr. olds. It was so odd, they have all of these sterio types about American's being so wild and we(at least I did)think of them as kind of uptight. So I get there and one of the bouncers had this drunk kid(around 14)in a head lock and the kid was trying to beat hime off and was cussing with every American cuss words plus some English ones that we don't have. So I was a little nervous, but then we went in. It seemed like every single kid was completely drunk beyond thinking, and smoking...this girl was even throwing up in this little room. I guess I was just expecting something different. Oh and the dress style is different. The boys are kind of in that Beatle's look...with the black leather heeled shoes.
So then we went to Germany and that was really different. In England they have all of the things that we do, so I couldn't bring that much exciting things back, but Germany had lots of little toy shops and candy places. The language is deffinately a barrier, but we never once ran into someone who didn't know any English. You can just walk up to most people and talk to them in English and they will respond in English. I was surprised. Well that is all I feel like writing...but if you want some more... gengwalker at hotmail.com
