Hit The Ground

Ouch, you think, a little in advance of the actual event. shortly thereafter, the pavement flaps downward as you hit it, like a rubber sheet... you are tossed back into the air, and flop down again on the pavement at a safe velocity, though still enough to knock the breath out of you. Maybe you should take a break, and not think so much about it.
