Take detailed notes, such that you could use to teach others about the subject you're learning
- make a bright beautiful notebook with everything you've learned about birds, trees, chemistry, political thinkers, famous actors, whatever.... include at the back a list of sources. Use bright colors, pictures, whatever triggers you. But try to make it so that a person can flip through, reading bits and say "wow, this stuff is interesting, how'd you learn so much?"
- make a webpage, with everything you learnt about whatever it is you're studying. For example http://www.smokylake.com/Christy/History.htm That's my way of taking notes on history.
- I take lots of pictures and type notes and collect any paper items from things I do or places I go(forms from the hospital volunteer program, leaflet from the national park) and make a huge, jumbled portfolio. I also keep a log with an entry for each day where I write down what I did, how long I spent doing it and what school "subject" it counts for. -Ren
- I have a big old binder full of stuff... Sections for each subject plus reading list, volunteering, travel plans... stuff like that. I try to make it as user friendly and fun to look at as possible.. -Dawn
