Non Human Companions

Mmm.... my lovely Honey dog. (yes that is her name) She's half German shepard, half golden lab, and the cutest little thing ever even though she's almost eight years now! She still seems like a puppy. I spend long hours talking to her, sometimes, and she looks at me with those clear brown eyes and I know that she knows more than she's letting on. She's got so much wisdom, I swear. And so much loyalty.

But she's a house dog. She's not going anywhere, and I am... I'm going to miss her a lot when I go off traveling. I wonder if she's telepathic, if she'll sense where I am. I know she'll remember me.

For traveling... you know I'd want? A bird on my shoulder, wherever I go *smile*

My shadow follows me wherever I go. It seeps from my from my skin like a second rainbow.
