Once Upon A Landis

Landis awoke in the middle of the night when her ceiling fan went off. She hated it when that happened.

But I guess it's hard to say. Maybe it was really the sound of someone prying her window open that did the trick.

Groggily she sat up. Saw fingers on her window-sill and before she could move or scream or do anything else someone climbed through the window.

"Jenny?" she asked. Feeling slightly less shaken.

The figure that looked like Jenny raised a finger harshly to her lips and bekoned for Landis to follow her back out the window.

Once they had dropped to the ground Landis demanded.

"Okay. Tell me what this is all about."

"You see..." said Jenny, face pale, "It's Franny...she...."
