Parties In Wisconsin

Ok. I realized that I have nothing to do for my birthday, so I'm thinking about having a little shindig here in late April, probably around the 26-29^th, or thereabouts. What I need to know is: if I have something like this, will you come? You know you want to! So if you're interested, sign your name below, or send me an email.

Ok, the dates are set: April 26-29^th. I'm desperately sorry to the people who can't make it then, but I had to pick something, and this would work a bit better for me. So. If you're almost-definitely coming, please post your name below! Gracias. If you need help with travel planning, write me. I know that you can get good deals on Greyhound with their companion fares.

• Had to be in April, eh? Well, I'll do my best. We'll see what I can work out. I might just be able to pull something off. And then you'll be stuck with me for awhile. Which I'm sure you'll hate. *grins* -Kathleen

• I would really like it, if it was not the first weekend in May, that is like, bad... Ryland
• Ali would be very interested in going, as long as she wouldn't be traveling alone
• Franny is also very interested. However she has no idea if it's possible. if it is then she could travel with Ali!
• Mike would be very interested, but if it is that weekend, the 26^th-29^th, he can't because he isn't able to run away from theater.
• Kathleen is very interested, but doesn't want to be traveling for as long as she would have to be gone to go to both that party and Kim's (May 16^th-20^th), and I've already promised that I'm going to Kim's party. Therefore, I vote that your party be moved closer to Kim's. Like say the weekend before. May 10^th or thereabouts. That way I could go to both.

Tiffany would be interested, but i would need to know at least a couple weeks in advance to work out plans with parents, get time off work, get a plane (or whatever) ticket, etc. also i would need to know if a) i'm even welcome. b) how close are you to bus,train,plane,etc. stations? PS unrelated note but i majorly *heart* your signature on wiki Becky! =)

• You're most definitely welcome to come Tiffany. We're about 20 minutes from a bus station, and about an hour away from a more major bus station, and an airport (Madison). My sig is courtesy of Fiona, and I think it's quite cool too ;)

• Lorin would love to be there if he can find a way...he's trying to save money for a bike trip during May so April is better for him if he can come at all. I've already sort of promised my boss that I'll go to a confrence in Chicago the first weekend in April so that kind of eats up his bus money for now unless he manages to earn a lot of money before then. And Greyhound no longer runs the bus that came so nicely through Wabasha and Red Wing down to Spring Green...We have to get to Winona to take that route now...We'll see...don't count on me being there. If anyone would be Driving from this part of the world let me (And Chris)know.

• Chris notes that his brother usually manages to stick to one tense a little better than above. If he's right that this whole date thing has now been settled, he will be there on the dates it actually happens.

Since the dates are flexible, (but ideally I'd like to have the party as close to my birthday as possible) which would work better for you?

• franny would like to announce that she doesn't care if it's in april or may! franny is somewhat proud of that. franny thinks becky should decide on her party dates. franny wants to come. she will try hard.

Note that the first weekend in May is the WPA confrence (a Wisconsin Statewide homeschool confrence, for you out of staters)...I don't know how many people that will effect, but I know at least my parents are going, and maybe some other parts of my family. -Lorin

As of Febuary 1^st-ish 2002, there are not any knowen gatherings, with set dates. altho, there are rumers of things going down, that we might let you in on, if you are really nice to us, and those would be.

at some point in early spring.. Marina said she is going to get a bus pass or something, and see people.

Mid July

Ryland is having somthing that will resemble a party (excuse to make noise, stay up late, and eat food) and if you need an excuse to give him something shinny, he will also be turning 21, sometime in july too.

• This isn't going to conflict with the family campout, is it?
• Oh Dear... yeah, I supose it could, should it be earlyer, latter, or what? mayb I'll just be quite about it, and just invite the people who are not going to the family camp out... right? *evil grin* I didn't really have any set dates, so who knows when it really will happen.
