Poem For Jadzia

laughing lightly we slip outside the bonds of time and space and smile at the hurting cruel world and into our own, where hurt never happens and love lingers on. i loved you before i knew you, you dreamt of me before our paths crossed, like deer in the woods seeing eachother's footprints in the fresh snow. we'll never be apart now that we're together, we'll sing songs forever and a day, and touch unicorns in the forest.

 she glances at the sky
 and i do too
 can't see her yet
 while swimming
 in my own confusion
 some of yours
 give you some of mine
 (we all need somebody to lean on)
 and my razzberry
 jazzberry
 will be there
 and i'll be here
 and i'll wish -she- was here
 so we could 
 dump the confusion out the window
 and just lean.
