Qetria Is Rad

Kathleen is...

I will say only one thing about Kathleen. I have not been freaked out by anyone in 3 years! Untill second session. Kathleen freaked me out! She is the only person to freak me out in a long time! I shall have my revenge!!! Mwahahahahaha! -The insane LHF!

  • Ok, I'll say a second thing, too. She taught me how to knit! Of course, I got home and totally forgot everything she told me. Then I had to get someone else to teach me but that's ok! She still taught me how to knit! -The LHF
    • One me thing! After this I'll shut up, I promise! She like Monty Python, whichs atomaticly makes her cool! -The LHF (I'm shuting up now, just like I said!)

Kathleen was awesome in advisee groups... she adopted me as her Pet New Camper and said next year I could adopt one. It's an unschooler rite of passage. I'll never forget her at the prom in that red velvety dress, seducing every man in sight. (I think Vic fell the hardest.) I love Kathleen! Kathleen rocks! And she knits! --Ali

Kathleen is: a great writer, silly, smart, funny, has good taste in music, beautiful, down-to-earth, and I got to meet her already! and I didn't get bored once. *grin* Kathleen: you bake wonderful muffins, say the funniest things, and are so cute. And you rock because you stayed up with me until we both feel asleep (sorta) with Marina. --Jekissa

  • wait, more! she lives near me (in Cali, no less!), she's weird, and she is wise beyond my years! *grin* -jess

Kathleen is my angel, my diva in human form, my adventuring sister, my artemis. We ran on the moon hunting rabbits in my dreams. She is like a watermark on a piece of paper, the watermark that the rain left. She is the stuff dreams aer made of. She is Qetyria. Raina.

Kathleen is completely and totally awesome! She's really wise and intelligent about things, and great to talk to. I remember at Marina's birthday party, some of us went to the beach, and Kathleen hurt her foot on a rock, and it was bleeding. But she was so calm and didn't complain at all, even though the rest of us were completely freaking out and worrying that it might have been a jellyfish sting or something. I love that about Kathleen, how she has the capacity to just keep her head in situations like that. I also love how enthusiastic Kathleen is, talking to her always makes me feel happy! Kathleen is also very giving. She shared her candy with me at camp, and went to bed at the same time as me when I wanted to go to bed early at Marina's, and wanted someone to go with. She's also great at playing the piano. She's a very good friend. I love you! ~Becky~

Kathleen is a really caring and kind person. I remember the first year of camp me and her went out and rented a paddle boat and slid down sand dunes and swam and we had so much fun. She has a quiet personality but she is very thoughtful and I always enjoy hearing what she has to say. Hugs-Curi

Ah, Kathleen... I remember sitting with her on the bus to my first camp. I was nervous as hell, and I think I talked too much. But she seemed to take me very much in stride, and talked to me very quietly and slowly about this sweater she was knitting. She got me all calmed down in a few minutes, and I was feeling a lot better about this wierd new camp I was going to. She showed me that y'all are human after all. I haven't really talked to her all that much since then, but I do remember Kathleen's calming effect very well indeed. And her knitting! Wow... Y'all know that sweater she's always wearing? She made it! Herself! By hand! (If somebody thought that just sounded condescending, keep in mind that this is coming from a person who can't do jack with her hands except possibly maim something.) Kathleen may be a bit quiet, but damn! Is she ever tallented. Samantha

Kathleen is really cool. She has an incredible sense of herself, I think, and she's great to walk-and-talk with, or go swimming with. She was smart enough to insist that I just run and jump into the swimming hole I wonder if she guessed I never would have ended up putting my head under the water otherwise? :) - Emma

Kathleen is... comfy pink sweatshirts and kittens and sweet smiles and straightforwardness. She is the calm the glow of the sun setting down over sweet grass. She is golden and kind and playfully kittenish. Lovely having you for a roommate at camp. -wanderlust

kathleen is so wonderful... i'm so glad she lives near me. she's so great to skip downtown with and hug attack people with and eat chocolate and carmel apples and nuttella with and do anything smiley with! she's such a happy healthy person to be around. i love her sweater... i can't believe she knitted it herself! i love kathleen! she works in a candy store! and i'm going to her birthday party in about 2 weeks!!! yay!!! oh, and she always comes out with these wise things just when i'm not expecting it... she has her head screwed on right. spending time with kathleen is a good thing to do. i don't ramble as much around her as i usually do. ;) much love. --marina

Kathleen is so cool! She came up to throughout the day at Becky's and would just hug me for no reason at all and it made me feel so loved. and she was always ready to go for a walk or play on the swing. She got up in the talent show and showed us how to make yarn on a drop spindle and it was so NEAT! Her knitting is amazing!!! She brought nuttella to which is reason enough to like her in itself. But thats not why we love kathleen, really it isn't *giggle* ~Franny~

I'ma gonna write more. Kathleen is a solid person. Someone you can depend on. She takes friendships seriously. She is sensitive and openhearted and truely wise in the best purest sense of the word. She comes up with terrific DQT 's when it's late enough. When I don't reply to her emails or letters or visit her enough, she forgives me and talks to me anyway. If we lived together, we might not eat enough solid meals, but I can picture us working together and laughing together and being childish and scaring normal people together. Like I said before... Kathleen has her head screwed on right. --marina

Oop, I just gotta write more... I wanted to mention Kathleen's mad piano skillz. Over the past year she's jumped from very basic reading and playing skills to pretty much as good as I am, and I've been playing for eight years. I have no doubt that within the next year she'll be better. It amazes me every time I hear her play piano, you can actually hear how much better she's gotten. Yeah. Da girl's amazing. Yup. --marina
