Rant Negative One

This is a slightly edited rant I posted on the nbtsc Guestbook when I was 16.

Message: [you guys where talking about] bombing Iraq... It's just so amusing that any of you think you know enough about the situation to have rational oppinions of it. Every one of you is looking at one aspect of it, and deciding the other's either aren't true, or they're less important, you can't do that, all the angles exist. Yes. Our government is killing people. Yes, our media doesn't seem to care as long as they weren't born around here. Yes, we consume massive quantities of oil, and whatever his reasoning was, Clinton did take that into consitteration, he didn't turn a blind eye to that fact, but whether it was the main reason, is unknowable to anyone else, and probably to him. like I've said before, I personally don't think humans are anything special, but I also don't think Americans should be deciding who lives and who dies on the other side of the planet, but I also know that chemical and nucular wepons have this annoying habit of getting all over the place and mucking things up where we didn't think they would... but I also think that Sadam (congradulations to those of you who can spell the dude's name...) would have used such wepons by now if he had them... probably on us. and most of all I just think I don't know nearly enough about this to state an oppinion on it.... ironic... really ironic... **I** of all people, am the one saying that!!! "Dude, that's pretty fucked up right there!" ~South Park. anyway... couldn't we come up with something beter to talk about than global politics we know nothing more about than what our oh so trustworthy and unbiased news media tells us?

Humph.

Life is not an action flick, if the U.S. goes down in flames, or up in flames or whatever, I'll probably die very quickly without even realising it when some terrorists nuke Philly... unless I'm vissiting friends. ooooh... that reminds me... my theory on somebody Nuking the U.S. and how they'll compleatly missestimate, and do a crap job:

Okay, first they'll hit N.Y.C., this will piss us off royaly, and help the overpopulation problem quite a bit, not to mention seriously messing up whatever country these bombers come from, since N.Y.C. has so much fucking commerce going on... oh yeah, and it'll put everyone else on the planet on our side... Then they'll hit DC, thinking they'll paralize us. on the contrary, that'll just get rid of the beourocracy so as a county we'll get things done a lot beter (it'll later be found that the people who nuked Washington were an entirely differant group, odly enough, they were demestic, known as the Green Party... they decided the emidiate problems would be offset by the eventual gain.... And then, they'll nuke L.A.... little will they reolise, this too will let us unleash our deadly and brutal American rath on them for what they did to N.Y.C., by way of eliminating the movie and T.V. industry, which of course distracts Americans from doing anything.

Thus, as a country, we'll get a severe reality check, compleatly revamp the government to something that actually work moderately well, reolise we could never get away with using our nukes even if we wanted to, and therefor get a global nucular wepons ban... after we decide if must have been Iraq and nuke the middle east to oblivion, meaning the shortage in oil forces us to get around to taking solar seriously, and that the rest of the world gangs up on us and whips us into shape....

God I hope that doesn't happen..... Or at very least that I've moved to New Zealand by then.... At any rate, in my personaly, fairly unfounded oppinion, the power of the Straight White Man (which at this point is just left over power, because the only real power we had was the power to beat everyone else into submission,) will be gone within' my lifestyle... which kinda sucks for me, 'cause knowing what humans are generaly like, at least oppressed ones, the rest of you will probably do as bad in retaliation to white men as we've done to you, and do it with as little attention to who the people are, as my ancesters have. That kinda sucks ya know? I can't wait till I have a conversation with Native American, and he barates me for not respecting my ancesters, and I say, "hey, wait a sec, are you trying to tell me you respect my ancesters?" My ancesters are a bunch of fucking assholes... 'course, most of them didn't know any other way to be I s'pose... that's too bad. The real pitty is when other people take our way of life, our hatred, and think they're fighting against it by throughing it back in our faces. That's fighting against people, mostly people they don't know anything about personally, using the tecneques you're trying to rid the world of, but that won't work, 'cause it won't do any beter to have sexist, racist, heterophobic, Latino women in charge than have sexist, racest, homophobic white guys in charge.
