Storrys About Lotus

Lotus is a totally awsome person and I just had to be the first to write here. *GRIN* I didn't spend enough time to have a STORRY so much as to just say thanks for teaching me to play the guitar at ricks house after camp. Love ya' Lotus,

I remember when she and Ali and Ryland came to this party-type-thing that I had. Lotus and I stayed up until 2 or 3 (or was it 4??) talking, because I had lots of questions about camp, and she was the first one to actually answer my questions. *and* Lotus is just so darned awesome.... -JessicaSkater

I called Kate up at Lotus's house a few weeks ago to say hi. We chatted, then she put me on the phone with Lotus so we could listen to eachother saying, "uh....hi." we did that, then Lotus is like, "what shall we talk about? I know! What do you think about....Canada???" And I said on the spur of the moment, "we should bomb those Canadian commies off the face of the tundra," or something like that, and she was like, "What?!?!?" I said, "Oh, just bating the Canadian in the next room." (Dawn was there at the time.) then we jokingly discussed the varying kinds of compassion we could extend to our northerly neighbors for awhile , and then Kate took the phone back. I still wonder if Lotus thinks I'm a bloodthirsty patriot after that. *grin*

I remember when Lotus got ahold of Nick's violin in Corvallis....she played it for hours, even though it was out of tune and missing a string! She talked me into showing her 'how' to play it, and asked me good questions for the better part of two hours...I'll bet she's phenomally good at playing already!

when i was visitign Wisconsin in April, mom dropped me off at Ryland's house, & then Lotus & her mum were going to pick me, Ryland, Chris, Lorin & Geoffrey the next day. so the next day rolled around & i was freaking out, big time, like i usually do around people, if you notice me hiding in the corner pretending to draw i'm usually freaking out. so then Lotus fiiinally showed up, & as soon as i saw her i just felt SO much better & hugging her made the whole nervewracking day worth it. Ok, so last summer, I talked Lotus in to comeing over, and for some reson we decided it would be fun to make a small wood box, with a little lid and everything, and nither one of us had done this befor, so she is looking around, wondering what we are going to make this "box" out of, sence I am saying I know stuff, and I hand her this piece of wood, that still even has bark on it, and she gives me one of the more odd looks I have ever seen this girl make, so I explane what my idea is, and after a few hours, we get it finished, for the most part, haveing a whole lot of fun along the way, and somehow the box aquired the name Sam, it was a wonderfull day, i have some very fond memerys, watching her trying to get things perfect, and enjoying every second of it! so I guess that is one of my many stories of the amazing Ms. Lotus
