Storrys About Mitchell H B

a storry bout mitchell eh? hmmm, I remember, in edmonton, new years 2001/2002, shortly after our first talent show, me and alyson were sitting together in a corner, and neither of us really felt like getting up, however, the smell of very yummy food was coming from the kitchen downstairs. as we were trying to decide weather or not to get up, mitchell walked by, so me and alyson decided to give him puppy dog eyes, and ask him if he could pretty pretty please go downstairs and get us some supper. and he did! pasta, with sauce, and even some water. you rock mitchell. :-)

trampoline at theory:) thank you jenny g and mitchell for being there that night love forever Heather

--- Once, Mitchell got to be the target of a psychiatrist game. He must've been up there for two hours, and he was just playing with us. He figured out which questions sent us into gails of laughter and then kept asking them just for amusement's sake. The best part was his perfectly straight face the whole time...

When he found out how to play, though, he said he wished he'd have taped
it so he could have figured some things out... (giggle)

Ooh, ooh, man, and now I have another good storry about Mr. Mitchell. He came to stay at my house this weekend, and so Mel and Luke came over one afternoon. After dinner that night, we played this great game called Apples to Apples. This is a game where there's two piles of cards, red and green. The red have random stuff written on them, like Pigs, Anne Frank, My Bedroom, Berlin - 1945, etc. The green cards have descriptive words like crazy, normal, that kind of thing. Anyway, we were playing a version where everyone has seven green cards, and someone plays a red and everyone else plays a green card, or two, that they think describes whatever's on the card.

  Well.

Well, Melanie got a blank one, so she said 'Mitchell' and slammed it down. And so, for a joke, I put down 'sexy'. And I have never seen anyone laugh so hard as Mitchell when he found out who put that card down. We were frickin' rolling around on the floor. It was hilarious. So then we decided we should play cards for everyone playing, so we did...and when my name came up, Mitchell played 'sensual', in retaliation...whee, and then Mel got both 'wicked' and 'saintly'... aha hah, that was fun. Love you, brat.

10 hours in Seattle. :) -Dawn
  • Come on, sweetheart, you can do better than that. Tell a story about me that everyone else will understand and be amused and/or touched by. I mean, those were ten of the best hours of my life, but.. grin Love you, Mitchell
  • heh heh heh.. you may live to regret that one... lets see.
anyone who has ever met a Loyd knows they are something of an experience in
and of themselves. Charlies and Peter Loyd are two delightful fellows. :)

well. Mitchell was staying on "charlies island" (that would be Waldron. go if you ever get the chance) with me and Shippy. One night at the dinner table he asks to "see the salt pleasee" well did we have fun with that one! you may see it of course, but this kind or that kind? fine ground? should we fill up the shaker? here, have a pinch of salt. see, isnt it pretty? we played the game for a good 5 minutes before we gave the poor boy his salt. he repeated the mistake a few minutes later asking to see teh butter. we have no mercy. :)

  • I also had to leave Mitchell behind at a ferry dock in some little hole in the wall in washington state. our bus was leav eing, there i was perched on the steps of the bus, holding the driver with one hand, flagging mitchell on with my other.
 love -Dawn

Ok, record-straightening time has come for this page. Fact #1: I deliberately asked if I could see the butter because I got such a kick out of watching all of you taunt me with the salt. Fact #2: The ferry dock story. Dawn, were you distracted when you wrote "also"? Didn't you mean "almost"? I did make it onto the bus. Barely, but I did. --Mitchell

The first night of camp. I did a double-take -- he really can play Bach with his eyes closed! - Naela

my favorite memory of mitchell is when he read this poem he'd written at theory, it was really cool to see this intense side of him, that wasn't at all scary like it can be when some supposedly quiet people get angry. he also gave me my first and so far only hand massage which was really sweet :) jenny
