Storrys About Tessa

Baking Bread with Tessa before Ack. Of all my many many memories of her, it will be this one that i treasure most highly. I learned a lot that afternoon, the smell of cumin floating around, trying to decide what was happening to me. Dilate by Ani playing on repeat, counting down the hours. Standing screaming on the K-Mark Trolly Fence waving our flags. It was a good spring. -Dawn

i remember tessa dressing up in amazing drag for the second session prom. she looked fantastic, and really inhabited the role. and then she took the time away from the prom to help me dress up, binding my tits and everything. serious bonding! --witchbaby

At that very same prom, I'd been hanging out with Dawn (I mean Mitchell. I bitched about it to Dawn later!) in the field and generally avoiding the people dancing, that being about all of camp. I was in a very sinsitive and weird mood, and here comes Tessa, with an incredible drag costume on and the body language matches and my mind just flipped out and I'll hve to admit that that is one of the single most uncomfortable moments in my life. Wow. Go, girl! --Ari

Hmmm... searching through my huge mental collection of Tessa stories Tessa stayed in Seattle off and on from late June until camp, and she bussed up to my house for a few hours almost every day. So, one day I went downtown for a cup of iced tea, and while I was on the bus back home, it ocurred to me that this would be right around the time that Tessa would be coming. So I looked around the bus, and after just a second I noticed her a few rows in front of me. Somehow we hadn't noticed each other when I climbed aboard. So we got to the right stop, and I followed her off the bus, and she turned around. The expression on her face was unbelievable. She was trying so hard to figure out how the hell I could be right there behind her. After a few seconds she laughed and hugged me. That expression, though... tee hee. -Mitchell

P.S. Rick.. ahem That was me you were hanging with in the field when she showed up in drag. I remember enjoying your reaction.

I absolutely cannot believe I didn't write on this page. For shame, Robyn, you have sinned...

Okay, this is a bit drippy, but... This one time, Tessa and I went to the movies, to see Billy Elliott, and we were being...um, highly lesbian, shall we say? And this lady was sitting there next to us, half watching.

Well, we kept oohing and ahhing over the dancing, and muscles, and stuff like that...and at the end of this movie, there's this shot of a male ballet dancer. And god, he had the most gorgeous muscle and we were both in fits about how nice they were...and the lady next to us just started to laugh and laugh. I don't know if she couldn't figure out what we were up to or what, but it sure made my day. --Robyn

oh dear oh dear. which one shall I put down? oh! one time, me and Tessa were making cookies, they were really strange cookies, you had to put baking soda in applesauce before you put it in the batter. anyway, we put it in a bowl and when we put in the soda, it started to...well...it got bigger, and it got all fizzy and turned kind of green. we were so suprised it almost overflowed before we dumped it into the bigger bowl. the cookies were good if you like that kind of cookie (which I don't really) but they were definatly worth making just to watch the applesauce and baking soda, do funny things. ~erynne
