Nia is . . .

Nia, A dear, dear friend who I trust farther than it is between her house and mine (which is a looong way). I love her emotional openness, and the way she dances, and how matter of fact she is, and what good comfort she gives me, and her views on life in general. She gives great hugs, has an amazing, inspiring eye for design, and cracks her toes like no-one else in the universe. ~tessa

Nia is such a sweetie, it is awesome to be in her presence. She's very smart, too. She's articulate, when she speaks, and you can tell she knows what she's talking about (in a good way). She also gives great hugs. ooh! And props to her for having that cool, Italian name; I love it! ~Adam

Nia.. wow. I can't believe I never talked to her until my third year at camp. She's compassionate, perceptive, down-to-earth, and lovely. She has a clear, warm voice, and a beautiful tinkly laugh. She's comfortable with silences and long pauses in conversation, a rare thing that I value enormously. And yes, it's true that she gives wonderful hugs. Nia must be the most highly compressed person around. How else can one explain the amount of pure, beautiful humanity and spirit that flows from a small frame? if there is Compression involved, though, she doesn't show it-she is always relaxed. As the most outgoing introvert I know, she is always bubbling over with emotions, usually positive. If she is under stress, you will know, but when the conditions improve, she bounces back almost before I realize it.
