Tessa is an absolute sweetheart. The thing I remember the most about her (though it's not the only thing!) is how considerate she is. Sorry, Tessa... there are so many serious compliments being paid to you, I just had to lighten the load. ;-) ) Back OT, I believe that Tessa is a most wonderful sweetheart. She is incredibly tallented, but you wouldn't think it when you're talking with her 'cause she doesn't have the ego that goes with such tallent. Gads, she's too nice for her own good! Just giving away her prized purple hair dye being the case in point... My most treasured memories of Tessa will always be a) snuggling with her during the second night's tallent show, and b) eating that cheesecake together on the last night. Kinda low-key senarios for camp, right? But for some reason, they really strike me as precious. I remember very vividly the smell of fading purple hair, and that we talked about something very meaningful on the last night... even if I can't remember for the life of me what it was! Hmmmmm... That Tessa. What's she good for, anyway? ponders She's incredibly comfortable to cuddle with, for one thing. And she's very pretty. As Robyn said once, no one should be allowed to be that pretty. She's honest and trusting. She's a jaw-droppingly great musician. You and Robyn and I still need to find a trio to play some time, eh? Other things.. She made the cutest disgusted face when I offered her some of my asparagus. Her extreme ticklishness is usually irresistible, even though I know I'm not supposed to tickle her due to her tendonitis. Spontaneous pillow fights are something else that Tessa is rather talented at. She squeaks beautifully. And she's been a great friend to me for just under three years. Aaah Tessa. A fellow traveller... and so grown-up now! My oh my. But the Tessa this year is still the couragous, beautiful, and down-to-earth girl from last year. Both our lives have changed so much, and it was lovely to sit in the camp lodge for the few minutes we had, and just catch up on the past year. I wish we'd had more time, but I bet we can manage enough letters to make up for it *smile* May good fortune follow in your footsteps, my dear.
