 "that's all that's really important"
 you say as we watch the clouds and walk in the rain
 and I usually believe you
 because you're right
 but sometimes it's seems a lot of pain 
 to harness the sun when you've always been told
 that people were born for shaded refrain
 but you dare to bask anyway
 and so will I
 hopping on the next freight train out to Insane
 where there's no city limits and people shimmer
 rainbow glitter style in the ways only gained
 by natural light
 and technicolor love
 and free living within or against the grain
 for those who've lived there or hung out for a while
 it also takes on a quite a different name
 not just other, or contrary
 but home pure and simple
 where the people are anything but. not plain
 so what if the sun burns or blinds sometimes
 it's better than slipping numb down the drain
 the joy is worth it
 to find your place
 where all that matters are walks in the rain
