What Is A Lasting Relationship

What makes a relationship "worthwhile"? People always talk about whether a relationship worked out or not, but let's face it: we're young. The chances of any relationship we have lasting our entire lives is really really slim. So what makes a relationship "good"? Personally, i think that a good relationship is one that doesn't end in too much pain, lies, and regret; even if the parties involved don't end up friends. anyway. food for thought. xo jennyrose

I think what makes a relationship worthwhile depends on the person. Some things that have made relationships worthwhile for me include: learning things about myself; interacting closely with somebody outside of my ingrained family dynamics; being desired and chosen; and feeling respected. I almost always end up being friends with my exes, except for a couple b*tches who <mumble mumble mumble>...

i think a lasting relationship is when two people who love eachother very very much, come together, and that reminds me of this time i was downtown, and this guy came up to me, and he said he had just been mugged at the greyhound station, and wanted money to spend the night in a hostel, and i didn't have any money i wanted to give him. it was kinda like that the wind was blowing down my wet body and I was struggling for breath in the heart of the Brazillian jungle in the tree tops fighting for my life, hey! hey, Noam! remmeber that time when we visited your grandmother, and she wouldn't listen to us, she just had her headphones on, and she kept twitching? you remember don't you? i remember it like it was yesterday. speaking of yesterday, I think that midget's should all serve in slave camps for their hearty laughter at my hairy ass, yes that's right! hairy! y'know...like that movie, hairy and the hendersons (if she were a president she'd be baberham lincoln), with the sasquatch guy. hey thats right, you were all there, it was at camp, camp granade lancher. im camped out on this tower roof with my sniper riffle you know me i'm violent so watch your back, and your head, and your spinal collumn. damn right im a maniac.
