Who Kim Is

She'll tell you the truth if you're not careful, and then what will you do? She has long fingers and green eyes and is waiting to smile, is very carefull to be careless. She is usually premeditated but pretends not to be, and hopes you see through it. She sees people. All their habits, their crudishness and loveliness and has a good sense about them. Sometimes she doesn't eat. Because she wants to be weak, strong, beautiful, spiky, pruned, delicate, razor sharp all at once to perfection you know, and she's going to do it, because she hasn't let me down yet. Other people she lets down but never me. So I trust her implicitly. She moves fast but thinks slow, a dangerous combination. She's flammable, she's buoyant, she's attached to herself by the hip, she's all alone but somehow she's everywhere at once with everyone at once, or wants to be. she's feeling pretty damn self-centered right now and unworthy of it. She falls in love easily or not-easily and can't decide which. what she really wants is to be by the ocean, because that's her favorite place in the whole wide world. Except your arms.

Kim is just a leetle bit tired of being presumed sweet (although she is) and is considering the use of scissors and combat boots.

Kim is the Other One, the face in the mirror, the girl you haven't met. She's the one who changes, all the time..."if you love me today, tell me today, tomorrow I'll be different...if you hate me today, don't tell me today, tomorrow I'll be different."

I am very alive. Very. Very. That's the only decisive thing I can say for myself, at present. Very pretty. Very in-love-with-the-world. Very honest, for me.
