Amy Lady

	*Amy is...

Too damn gorgeous to be real! But she is real, because contrary to popular belief, you can have your cake and eat it too. Not that I would want to eat Amy, because then she couldn't hang around me anymore, and I would miss her soft windy voice and interesting thoughts. The girl's also got her feet on the ground, so I don't have to yank her down to earth to talk to her. Hehehe. Props to you, my lady! --Eireann

amy...wow. girl, you're amazing, in every memory i have of you, i can find nothing at fault. you're *so* beautiful, & smart, & graceful. thank you so much for....well, i'm not sure what to thank you for, except for *being*, because there're so many things i *could* thank you for, but i don't know how to put them all into one "thank you." so thank you, love. you rock more than vanilla ice cream with rainbow sprinkles & hot fudge when you've just eaten yummy scrum-tum food & you're perfectly full & happy. i love you. --kat

I just spent an hour and a half talking to Amy on the phone, exchanging fears and hopes and notes on life. Amy reminds me how wonderful and crazy it feels to be alive. She makes me think of things in new and different ways. We can talk about Deep Things, or we can discuss the particular adorableness of our favorite anime characters. I used to be very jealous of her art, but we opted to be mutually admiring instead. She's beautiful. I'm so glad I know her...my life is much richer with her in it. --Rosemary

Amy is just an amazing person, and I'm struggling to find a better word, because amazing still does not do justice.... I was so happy she was able to stay with us at the hostel after her crazy time at the Amtrak station...her drawing just amazes me. Almost as soon as I met her I felt like there was a level of friendship there that takes me a long time to build with other people. I want to call her right now, just because her voice makes me so happy! -eira

I met Amy a very long time ago and I think she is one of the most wonderful people I have ever known. It is a privledge to know her! She is the most kind, loving, beautiful, talented, knoledgeable, fabulous person I have met! I moved to Minnesota recently and hadn't seen her for almost a year but she is actually here right now! She is visting for a week and I am having a wonderful time being with her again, just sitting and chatting and listening to her. She says the most amazing things! And she always has something nice to say. I love how she writes and sings and draws! She makes beautiful dresses and things. Thank you Amy,for being my friend when no-one else was there, Thank you for being you! **Megan**

... I watched Amy a lot at camp, read what she wrote in the directories, and have now read (with great interest/sadness/fascination) everything that she wrote here. I have come to several theories... Amy is really cool -- observant, beautiful, a great writer, articulate, intelligent... and she doesn't seem to know how cool she is... Those two things are so often a combination, the most amazing people so often don't realize it. I hope she knows how awesome I think she is, and that I'll always rememeber some of the things she has written and some of the things I noticed. (~summer)

Amy is very inspiring for me. It takes so much self-honesty to share your thoughts and feelings and inspirations with others, and you, Amy dear, carry it off with grace. ~tessa

I am Amy. That is, Amy is me. I like me. That's a pretty good thing, isn't it? -Amy

(Ack! My last posting didn't work! Lemmee try it again:) ... my very own Princess Fox. She is all things wise and wonderul. She sings like a cross between a cricket and an angel (no, that's a good thing!), and she draws like... I dunno. An otherworldly camara. I love hanging out with her because a) we can complain about the same bodyshapes and b) you get to see her artistic genius in action. Oh, and she's making me a dress! Wow, her dresses are incredible... She seems either shy or aloof at first, but then when you get to know her... boom! Amy attack! She'll knock you flat with her innate wisdom (which she keeps on insisting she doesn't have). Every other sentance that comes out of her mouth could be seen as a philosophy for life: see her above entry. Lucky for us, she writes! She handles teasing very well, even when it's a tad unkind, and has this wonderful tallent for seeing past the airs and personas people tend to wear and look through to the very heart of their being. It's really amazing. Do yourself a favor and get to know her! Samantha

Amy, Dragonlady, is....: elequent, wise, listens even when nobody (but her) is making sense, when she does say things, knocks you on your ass with how wise she is, forgiving (ahh! i'm so sorry about being such a slacker about writing you!!), writes wonderful stories, is waaaay beautiful, and sews like....uh! <shakes her head and waves her hands around wildly for a way to describe her sewing> abadaba! haha..a true jewel in my life. i'm so glad i got to meet her. love and faery kisses *k*a*t*e*

A fresh soul, full of warmth and compassion. Reaching out and giving little beautiful bits of herself to the needy. Amy is an awsome woman holding her own in a world full of harsh realitys. I wish to thank her for reaching out to me with her thoughtful e-mails even if I didn't respond. It has been a great support through lifes hardships. With Love and gratitude,

                   Caleb

Amazing Amy. :) I don't think I talked to her more than a couple times in person, but when I did I was seriously impressed. She is so self possesed, willing to respond with a smile, and stunningly articulate and smart in her writings. Amy, what you wrote on the InterestingDiscussion is the final word. There is no way to put anything better. Amy, you just rock! -marina oh my god, and I forgot about the dress. That is definitely a talent worthy of any talent show! My god, what gorgeous dress... Amy, how much would you charge to make me one? ;)

Amy my lady!!!!! Ahhh, She make me smile at the thought of her! I have whiched her grow & change into a very beautiful woman. Come out of her comfort zone & be her self. She is a very wondeful friend! Talk to her some time & get to know her. You will be very surprised to find she has lots to say & is very fun to talk with! I love her way of writing in her little poetic thinking! And oh my...her talent for making dresses & midevl clothes are be on this world! She is totally amazing! I love her beautiful black hair! I love her hugs!: ) I just love her altogether!! ~Selena

After long trains of thought to find just the right words for this wonderful girl I will say simply: I love Amy. And then less simply: Amy is a well of thoughts and insight and friendship and talking to her is a refreshing pool of clarity, and is in general a really good thing to do. I should do it more often. So should you. Amy, you're wonderful. -Susannah
