| Celebrity Sightings |
Here is the place to put those celebrity sightings...Especially the dubiouse ones.
OK Mine don't really count as celebrity sightings because as far as I know I've never seen one. HOWEVER. I have rode on and worked with horses for The Carridines (I have NO clue if thats spelled right.), Tom Cruise (coolest horse in the world. After mine.), Nichole Kidman, SOme Rich guy whos name i can NEVER remember, and probably some more but my brain is mush right now. So thats cool and besides it's much more individual.
Ok, when I was 15 I was walking at the plaza (a nice outside shopping
center in Kansas City). And I saw Kevin from the backstreet boys. Or at
least I thought I did . HE went into a store and I walked over to him and
asked if he was a BSB and like freaks and goes "SHHH!" and looks around to
see if anyone hear me. IT was funnny. at the time a was a fan of them so I
was excited to meet him. yee haw. Lol so we talked and I got his autograph.
He was a nice guy.
I also met Suyria Bonaly in Las Vegas and I got to skate at the same
Session as her! I got he autograph and we talked a little. Damn the girl
does triple-triples like its as easy as pickin your nose.
I also met nathan Lane in NYC I talked to him and got his autograph after
seeing his show 'THe Producers'. He is sooo teeny tiny short.

- That's a wicked story dude! Makes mine look lame-o. Ah well. -Adrian
I met your mom once.
When I was in Ausitn hanging out with Summer and co. Sandra Bullock came into the ice cream shop where we were hanging out. She quite quickly dashed into the photo booth with her boyfriend and then left quickly afterwards. Trippy.

When I was little, I saw that wrestler guy from Saved by the Bell at the boardwalk. I think he was with another girl from the show, and they were making an appearance there. I was too shy to ask for an autograph, hee. And that was probably the only famous actor-person I ever saw in real life. Mari
I shook hands with, oh what is his name... Martin Sheen? whoever that guy is who plays the presednet on... the West Wing (I beleave that is what show it is, never seen the show tho) and I could have gotten a picher of me with him, but I never liked the idea of doing that kind of thing.
I also met Michael Hackleman (wrote a few really good books on Electric Vehicles, and wind power, and a few other things) and ended up talking to him for a while, I even have a sketch for any idea that he had, someplace here...
and once I was hanging out, next to a small stage, and latter relized that i had been standing RIGHT NEXT TO Amy, from the Indago Girls, and then a little over a year latter, I had her walk right past me, at a concert, and yes, I am sure it was her, for I saw her play latter that night.
and Chris, and Lorins little brother, geoffrey, met Relf Nader, and ended up talking to him for a few minuts! (that kind loves to talk, and argue)
I saw Tim Allen... er... at least his stand in. *grins* They're filming "Joe Somebody" here, and they were setting up a shot a few block from my house.
I saw Sandra Bullock. Ok, so it was the back of her head. but it was her. She's filming a movie here. My brother watched them filming for a couple hours.
Well, I don't know if anyone cares about celerity look-alike sightings, but I just happened to look out my window a little while ago, and see a guy who looked like Taber, his face was quite different, from Taber's but the back of his was close enough to fool me for a split second --- Neal
- wow neal...too bad taber isn't a celebrity...or that would have been cool.
well, I haven't actually seen him, but Kevin Spacey is here in halifax
somewere, cus they're filming a movie with him in it here,
which I think is pretty neat. :)
so this isn't an actual sighting, but its close enough. :)

Lorin saw Ronald Reagan going into Grocery Outlet in Corvallis Oregon.
Lorin saw Paul McCartney riding a Greyhound Bus sowhere in California.
Yeah! well Robert saw Mr. Bean! i swear it was him. riding a bike in vancouver bc.
And Robert also saw Dr Evil. and Mr Clean.
Jennyrose saw Boy George once in Lucky's Juice Bar in NYC with Jake and Lydia and Zack and Mona. He's really tall.
- I remember that... course, I was just taking somebody's word that it was Boy George, but I remember that... ~Zack
Don't know if these count, but I met Scott Hamilton, Katarina Witt, Brian Boitano, Brian Orser, Dorothy Hammil, Katerina Gordeeva, Ilia Kulik, Surya Bonaly, Victor Petrenko, Karen Cadaevy, Steven Cousins, Oksana Baiul, and Alexei Urmanov.... (all in the same night, nonetheless... talked to Katarina Witt about unschooling and she asked about NBTSC! And Brian Orser was joking around with us and lipsynching to Katarina Witt's music. And Oksana was DRUNK... and Steven Cousins was really really nice and was joking around with us backstage)
I knocked Elvis over the head with a raspberry champagne bottle because he ain't nothing but a hound dog, ya know. Across the street, TMBG was somehow involved, probably getting high from the statue in the sky, and hitting Britney Spears just one more time.
Well... Um... uh... I've met Grace Llewellyn and Billy Wimsat! so there! Ha!! Lemme think... my brother, my sister, and my brother in law all had lunch with Daniel Quinn one time. I've met Anna Wize, and Effie Chow, but probably nobody here knows who either of them are. oh! just remembered my biggest one - I met Chuck D. and got to talk to him for about 5 minutes one time. That kicked ass. (that was at the Shadow Convention in phily in the fall of 2000.) ~Zack
I saw george bush (sr.) driving a grey hatchback near Akron the day before yesterday.
Today I saw Mr. Rogers almost convincingly disguised as an Amish man, driving a buggy into Charm, Ohio.
Shirley Temple at a country club in California. She surrounded herself in red things. Showed up in a red mercedes, had two men with her dressed in red blazers, and was wearing a red dress herself. A very nice lady. Nancy Packard (as in Hewlett-Packard) at the Monetery Bay Aquarium, she runs it with her sister Julie. We were given a "behind the scenes" tour. Also a very very nice person. - James
I have met Brian Jacques, taken a master class from Maria Tallchief, and been at a party with Simon Ball of the Boston Ballet! Eeha. - Emma
I saw Joshua Jackson walking down a street once. Yup yup. When they filmed Bird On A Wire here, Mel Gibson and Goldie Hawn said hello to me, because I was young and irresistable. My pottery teacher had tea with the authors of Curious George. The end. - Gabrielle
I saw Nickel Creek perform. They're hotttttt... all three of them. Chris Thile, Sean Watkins, and Sarah Watkins. Oh yeah. I'm going to stalk them.
* Dude, I took mandolin lessons from Chris Thile and was friends with his
brother for a while, so HA!--Candra
I met Adrian Dolan once.
I met David Letterman when I was 8. (or was I 9...) He was really funny. He interviewed me. *jekissa*
I've really met (as in, I was personally introduced to): Howard McGillin, Carolee Carmello (I know, you've never heard of them), Bobby McFerrin (ask me to tell you my Bobby McFerrin story sometime), Julie Taymor, and a number of DC theatre people whom one could call "celebrities" if one wanted to.
I've "met" (as in, along with anonymous groups of fans): Penn & Teller (three times, no less), Arthur Miller.
I have not met, but have personalized autographs from: Angela Lansbury, "Weird Al" Yankovic, and Rupert Holmes (a Genius, if you didn't know).
And I've been in the same room with Morgan Freeman (he was a visitor to the Julie Taymor exhibit at the museum where I work!).
So there. -Emerie
- Emerie, wow. I LOVE Bobby McFerrin and Julie Taymor! His music is the first i ever remember hearing (grandparents and parents(mainly mom) like him)...Julie's exhibit was at a museum that I saw and she seems really really cool. I'd love to see any of her work on Broadway!

- The only autograph I've got that I haven't gotten in person is Madeline L'Engle's... I have an autographed copy of "A Wrinkle In Time"... it says "To Jessica - Tesser Well". (I was still Jessica then, considering that I was three)

Ya'know the movie 9 months? The scene where they fight the dinosaur in the toystore? My friend's dad owns that toy store. So I got to meet Tom Arnold (oooh wow! go me!) and either Hugh Grant or his stunt double. Can't remember which. I also got to see them do a bunch of takes doing the fight seen. I'm sure I saw funnier scenes than the one they put in the movie.
Oh yeah, I also got the Bassist of Alien Ant Farm's Autograph. And his Girlfriend.
-Matt H
Let's see... My main claim to fame is that I took a six week acting class from John Cleese once, which absolutely rocked. I've met Raffi... seen a ton of really cool musicians live at this festival where they always come out to this little booth after the show to sign stuff... Steve Martin supposedly waits tables at this little restaurant in town, but I've never seen him there. My dad ran into Micheal Douglas at the used bookstore the other day....
