I think the only songs that can get away with having the same lyrics sung over and over again are chants. That's because chants are supposed to be hypnotic, and they are done a very specific way. Pop made this way just sounds stupid.
I second JessicaSkater on Backwards Boys and the N'Stink (haha) I also hate the pop songs on the radio that are: cute, perky love songs sung by women with not very good voices. If you don't know what I mean, just turn on your radio to a pop station. They don't play any good music anymore!
-wanderlust
Anything by Britney Spears
Anything by Backstreet Boys or N'Sync (N'Stink, I mean)
-JessicaSkater If you happen to hate these, too, add them to your list as well!!!
- the Grateful Dead. uuugh.
- Celine Dion. especially the Titanic song. eyuck.
- Eminem of course - literally makes me want to throw up.
- Korn, Limp Bizkit
- most Third Eye Blind songs
-jenkitty
- Fatboy Slim - Rockafeller Skank (i liked it the first 8 times i heard it.)
- Limblifter - Ariel Vs. Lotus (local band. they play this every fucking second song on the radio#!@$!@)
- the Foo Fighters
- Devils Haircut - Beck
Cory Mo lata
"Last Resort" by Papa Roach
I liked this song at first. It's catchy. It's cool to rock out too.
Then I realized the guitar was the same as Brain Stew by Green Day.
And he repeats the same lyrics over and over - just in case you didn't catch them the first time!
And the lyrics suck.
Then I brought the CD.
And they have no talent at all. Their songs all sound the same, which is good for some bands, but bad for them cuz they sound like every other band out there.
