Goddes S

Describe GoddesS here. (I made this page for people to write about things that have to do with the Goddess and Goddess worship: stories, thoughts, poetry, prayers, myths, quotes, legends, rites, rants, invocations, rambles and whatever else you can think of...) Blessed Be

I'll start with some of the names people have given her....

  • Pele
  • Brigid
  • Athena
  • Hecate
  • Aphrodite
  • Kwan Yin
  • Tara
  • Mon-a-leh
  • Rhiannon
  • Caillech
  • Bastet
  • Artemis
  • Freja
  • Frigg
  • Idunn
  • Selene
  • Isis
  • Astarte
  • Astaroth
  • The Morrigan
  • Hera
  • Sekhmat
  • Kali
  • Durga
  • Iris
  • Hecate
  • Innana
  • Eire
  • Demeter
  • Diana
  • Inana
  • Venus
  • Cynthia
  • Eris

There was a goddess chant I learned somewhere. Too bad I can't give you the melody, but the order of the names that are used is "Isis, Estarte, Diana, Hecatate, Demeter, Kali, Inana"

Goddesses are cool. Yay them.

I have a question; what was Eris the Goddess of and in what culture? -Aeris

  • Eris is one of those Greek Goddesses who became a Roman one. See

http://www.hsa.brown.edu/~maicar/Eris.html

And then there's Eris Esoteric. She's the Discordian Goddess of Chaos, Dischord and Confusion. --Arianna
