Thought it would be cool to see who ya'll idolize....

Oh gee, I have a billion inspirations, but I'll try to keep it concise. Alix Olson, for her kick-ass hard-core feminist beliefs and some damn fine slam poetry; Adrienne Rich for not-quite slam poetry, but the most gorgeous and thought-provoking prose around; Ani DiFranco (no duh!); Tori Amos for gorgeous piano music; Vaughn Williams (the old dead composer) for making harmonys so gorgeous your emotions melt out your ears; Alison Bechdel for making the hilarious and on-target comic Dykes To Watch Out For; Mel Brauner for her amazing thoughts, energy, writings, art, and general good-personness; Dawn Smith for mostly the same things ;) ; Tessa Walker for being kind, stubborn, true to herself, and smart as all get out; Mitchell Hahn-Branson for being funny and outrageous when he wants to be and kind and all that stuff, plus the amazing ability to continue to play games even when I beat him; Roya and everyone else on PoetryMarathon for their outpouring of words; Eve Ensler for having the right idea about vaginas; my little sister Buzzy for the awesome power to transform random thoughts into hilarity at a moment's notice; Lesli Kathman for the most amazing 3 inch horses ever to grace the earth; Maragret Edson, for her play Wit; e. e. cummings, whose lines spacings I can never get enough of; my mum, who always surprises me, and my dad, who taught be there is no such thing as being too ridiculous; myself, for never growing up all the way....... and on and on and on.....
