PROM

Becsuse most home/un schoolers dont have a prom, Im wondering what other home/un schoolers think of it (the Prom)?

a prom is anything you would like it to be, it is some place that has music you can (should) dance to, it is a party, it is an excuse to wear a dress, and make up, and ask someone the silly quistions like, "will you be my date?" or "dose this make me look fat?" or "where did I put those water ballons???" or "I wonder if anyone would care if I only wear a towel?"

• i didn't only wear a towel... i wore two!
• a prom is also the place Dan Frampton can win best casually dressed person without even trying. booyeah. So here I was at the prom, eating Ramen noodles...

 
 *I personally think the prom kinda sucks. Heres why.

1)It's been over done. The first cuople of times it was still spontanious and not 'planned'. It now seems to me that its a big hasle. Whos going to DJ. How do we make sure they play all the music (do you know how long it takes to play 100 songs?) WAH! they didn't play the song I wanted. Etc.

2)Well I kinda got it all right there in #1. I liked it when it was a spontanios 'hey lets have a dance tonight. Okay! Dude we should dress up! Yeah! .... Like that. anyhow thats my take on things.

PROM 2002 ANNOUNCEMENT FROM ABBI IN KANSAS CITY!! here we go...this is so cool On Sat. May 25^th at 4:00pm to whenever after-prom ends! My home/unschool support group that my mom started has this amazing yearly prom! Its this huge costume ball. Last year the theme was Eqyptian and everyone came totally decked out in gold and black wigs. Its was sooo great! Its an all ages prom from 1 to 1000.. and this year the theme is... The circus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its so fabulous its at our house and we have a huge barn and yeard and hundreds of people help set up and we are gonna turn our whole yard into a cicus we are gonna get trapezes and tightropes...rings, cotton candy machine- everything! Anyway its a great huge deal with excellent live music and hundreds of amazing unschool families, then after midnight all the teens go out to this place called the great gymnastics express where we can run around like crazy! There is a huge rock climbing wall padded floors huge olympic sized trampolines and dance studios....etc. So if you happen to be in or around Kansas City, mo (I actually live 25 mi. north..)on May 25^th you have to come! If you are not in town, then get a hold of me and we will figure out how to get you here! its sooooo much fun!! AUH!!! Abbi or IceAbbi or IceAbbi%20at%20aol.com'>IceAbbi at aol.com......

• whoa...creepy...my birthday is May 25^th. kat, who can't go to kansas city, but that sounds really cool anyway.
