George and Leslie have a big house, four vehicles, steady jobs, two children, and seem like intelligent people. I am here today to tell you that they are not. Yes! It's the anouncement you've all been waiting for! Ok, I'll stop building you up to it. See, July is my birthday, and I'm going off to college in the fall, and all that jazz, never returning home, sayanora, hasta la vista, all that shiiite. And my dad asked if I'd like to have a "graduation party" and then, (this is the part where George is really stupid) he said I could invite anyone, and everyone I wanted to. And yes. There will be cake. Oh by the way, this is Candra. So! Come one, come all! Come see me for the last time before I go off to college and become a stuck up ivy league snob!!!!! Ok, maybe I won't do that, but still! You should come see me! Details will be forthcoming shortly. It'll be sometime in July. Trust me. If you wanna come, put yer name below! If you don't know how you're getting to my house, you may want to figure it out soonly... -Victor Guess what? It's another party!I, Victor Lane will be having a party! Where: Northern Californa. About an hours drive north from Sacramento. About two hours drive from the Bay Area. And about 8-9 hours from LA. The nearest town you'll find on a map is problem Arbukle. When: April 1 to april 7. Please don't get to my house before the first. But the 7 as the ending date is open. Leave on the 7 or stay for a exra week! (Staying for an extra week would rock, but if too many people stay, I need to talk it over with my parents.) Why: Becasue I feel like it and so people will visit me, thus saving me money. Parents: Both my mom and my dad will be "waching over us." If you parents want/need to talk to mine, just call. Where I live: I live on a 9 acre (I think) farm stead. We have three house on the property. One we live in, one some friend lives in and one we get to take over for the party. We have 3 barns with loads of crap inside them. 3 dogs and lots of chickens. Farm land basicly as far as you can see. Ok for hiking/walking. Though it's all really flat and farms get boring after you walk next to them for long enough. What to do: Becasue the nearest town with interesting things in it is 30 minutes away and our van only holds 6, we're not going to go into town that much. So mostly hang out, talk and explore our interesting selfs. Also, there's some really cool hiking ground about 10 minute drive from my house. And that we can drive to. Also, there's lots of fun progects I've been dieing to do. Like, if anyone ever wanted to make a catamaran out of to big pieces of pvc piping, now would be the time to do it. And we have loads of junk lieing around my house. I'm sure we could do something interesting with some of it. Getting to my house: You can fly to Sacramento and we can pick you up. Or fly to San Fransico and take bus/train/something to Davis and we'll pick you up there. Or take train to Davis or bus to Sacramento. Basicly, get to Sacramento or Davis and we can pick you up. (Davis is about a 20 minute drive from Sacramento. It's also right on the Amtrak route.) Other random stuff: Please bring music that you would enjoy listening to. Please bring about $30 for food. I'm sorry, but hopfully becasue there on the east coast, it shouldn't matter that much. Fencing!: I talked to my fencing coach and he's going to let me use the club fencing stuff to teach anyone who comes to the party how to fence. Not sure how exactly it will work, but if you want to learn how to fence, this is your chance. I think this is all the info. So who's thinking about coming:

Our First (Annual?) Community Family Campout July 16th through July 23rd
Location: Colorado
Site: Chris Park, North of Durango
Hi all. This is the first camp-out/party where the whole family is invited! It was proposed by Erek's mom Barbara, and is being coordinated with accomplices such as Erek (surprise), Ari, and several parents. Already, hook-ups are forming between some of the younger siblings. The possibilities for fun are endless Gosh, this is sounding like (horrors) an advertising pitch. We're just excited and want as many people as possible to come. Please tell your family about the event, and email Barbara at bdyskant at earthlink.net or erek at nbtsc.org with any questions. Your parent might want to check out the nbtsc-parents list, where there has been much lively and enthusiastic discussion of the camp-out. We'd like to know pretty soon if you can come (and how many people), or are seriously considering it, so we can reserve a camping spot that's about the right size. Things fill up early in the summer. if any of you know of camping places in Colorado that might work (we'll need toilets, running water, and hopefully showers), please get in touch with me. -Barbara
