Poem For Matt Henson

 trains
more entertaining. i remember you like
 a hacky sack
 flying through the air
 like a train flying down
 the track.

 and you are proof that
 photographs are
the most shallow kind of evidence

 i miss your voice.
 and i remember
giving you my bracelet, and making you my friend
 and i remember
when you gave it back, and gave me confidence
that you were attached longer than
 a rusty snap.
 and i hope
time flies down tracks through the air like a hacky sack
 because i miss your voice
 and i think
 my bracelet
 looks better on you.
