Roya Says Nice Things About Roya

I'm really rather interesting. I mean, I think so anyway. And I have it on fairly good authority that other people think so too. No, wait. this is what I say about myself, not other people. riiight. okay.

I'm talented too. I've been singing since I could talk, I taught myself how to swim, I throw pottery, I'm a born talker so public speaking isn't a problem for me. I write, and without trying I do good in classroom situations. I like my eyes. someone said they look like hawk eyes. I'm a fast typer. I make a good pillow. I laugh at everything.

but now i'm feeling too braggy so i think i'll stop, even though i know that's the purpose for this page.

I collect amazing friends.

I can be fairly witty at times. I like my entry on the kidnapping page. I make really neat journals, i collage them all and put lyrics and cool schtuff in them.

I've been thinking about this page a lot recently.. about how hard it is for me to find good things to say about myself. well, how hard it WAS. i sat on the phone with my friend tenay for at least half an hour and couldn't think of one good thing to say about myself. now that is a sad state of affairs. even in my interpersonal communication textbook they talk about how good for you this kind of excercise is. so, i've been practicing. :)

• i love helping people. i never feel better than if i've just given someone advice, or just told someone how to find the nearest payphone.
• i give good advice. if it's about myself, forget it, i don't know what goes on there. but if it's someone else who has a problem, i can always see the best solution. i love this about me. if i just start talking, good advice will come. :)
• i'm an interesting person. i have a lot of stories to tell. my family's done some crazy things, and for only being alive 16 years, i've had a lot of experiences.
