  *Ryland is:

 I got off the bus in Wisconsin almost randomly, and ended up having one of
the best weeks of my life at his house, becoming best friends, and
eventually falling in love with Ryland. (everyone together
now.../"Aweeeee"/) I love Ry for his kindness, comfort, humor, how i can
always count on himto help me make food, organize or move things. He's
totally one in a million.

When I'm done with most of my major travelling, I'm going straight to Wisconsin to be Ryland's apprentice. Why? Because he knows things, of course! Very useful things that I would like to get in my head as well --- and the line forms to the right, people! Do not crowd! Heh. On top of that, Ryland is also wickedly humourous, sweet and caring, and if you want good conversation he's your man.

Well, he's god for one. He's funny, SWEET, does the best blush when thumb kissed (like he's filling up with tomato juice), is great to talk to about anything, mwah! Very wise. Luv ya lots, Candra

a cleaning product. ok, ok, I'm sorry, but he asked for that : ). Seriously, he's a tre cool geek dude with strange and wonderous thoughts floating around in his head. He convinced to me dance a few times although I know I looked like an idiot and he always had a smile on his deceptively cherub-like face. i met ryland. i'm cool! ryland is one of the most cuddly people i've ever met. and his hair is super for fiddling with, even though i think i might've gotten it a bit tangly.. and i'm so sad, because i didn't get to say goodbye to ryland :( i was going to take him to the bus station, but i couldn't, and it sucked. i hope he didn't take my tabloid with him. i love you, rye bread! i can't wait to see you again sometime :) -moth

Ryland is an inventor and conceptualizer without peer. There is more going on inside that freakishly large furry head of his than either you or I can imagine. Whether you need fixit skill, problem solving brainpower, or conversational delight,Ryland is your man.Beware, though! He will get what he wants from you with his famous pouty face. His less celebrated but equally amazing talents include the ability to perform the fully electrified Hendrix version of the Star Spangled Banner with only a microphone and an amplifier, and hummus and ginger beer recipes that best qualify as Religious Experiences. Thank you, Ry, for all the hours hanging out and in the shop, for jokes and bus rides, and thank you for telling me your ideas. It is truly a privelege to be the first to hear a new scheme, unhampered by the constraints of sanity, and to pick it apart, showing conclusively that it could never work, then be presented with the finished project the next week. Ryland is... Ryland. He is very Ryland-ish... I think that may be the only way to really describe him. *grin* He'll talk about the ultimate meaning of life, and pelicans and socks with equal intensity and attention to detail. He's so into knowing and understanding everything, he seems to give every second his full attention. He's very very good at listening, and giving advice, and knowing when not to give advice. He's waaaaay too good at looking innocent. Man, he's got that down to a fine art... *grin* He's 'one of the girls'. He looks hot in a silk shirt and a tie and eggplant nailpolish. He Knows Things. He's god and the queen of england and a fairy princess and a space heater and not a cleaning product and loudly quiet and evil and quite a lot of other things I'm sure I'm forgetting. And he is the absolute best cuddler I know. Absolute. Bar none. Yup. And finally, he's simply very very interesting. *grinwink*

Ryland has cool braids, is a lot of fun to talk to, and gives great shoulder massages during trust walks! - Emma

Ryland: It's What's For Dinner[TM]. He jus' coo'. He's the legendary Mechanical Geek, and the guy to blame for "So you get some {small animals} and some {nasty fluid}" being so bloody popular. He's really great for geeking sessions (ask him how to blow an airport up, or make a street luge, or make the ultimate chopsticks), but actually has a human side too (or so I've heard). I plan to get to know him as well as possible this winter. Oh, and just so everyone knows, there is nothing going on between us. We're just friends. Even if he can do that thing where you wiggle your butt when you walk in a dress. Charlie. (p.s.: duuude!)

Ryland breaks all of the codes. You know when you're walking down the office supplies isle at Target, and then some silly woman comes on over the intercom and says, "There's a code four in housewares. Code four in housewares." ? Well, Ryland has even broken that one. With his immortal super villain agenda at hand, nothing will stand in his way. I admire his super human strength and his will of steel. One day maybe he will let me hang out with him... or even just wash his cape. Until then I can only dream. ~Rhymi~

Awww, my RyRy, the big brother I never had! Looks great with Pippi Longstocking hair (even though he hurt a few people who were dancing next to him) and subconsciously giving you back massages. ryland is too cool for words. i have been fortunate enough to have gotten to spend a good deal of time with him, and he never loses his coolness. he has a sense of humor and a certain weirdness that makes being around him extremely fun and interesting. he is good at being evil and just simply making everything more fun than it would be otherwise. and he's coming to visit me!! -courtney

Ryland, is a funny kick ass kinda guy. He's great to just hang out & doing nothing with, cuz the weirdest kinda conversations come up. It's lots of fun. try it some time. I'm sure i've written on here before! why can't i find it? argh! ryland is the most amazing fairy princess/queen of england/easter bunny i've ever met. he's the cuddliest, nicest, most....*searching*...sincere person too. he's just.. ryland. glittery and wonderful to talk to, and comforting, and funny,and looks damn fine in that big bow. ;)

I'm so glad I got to meet Ryland this year, though I wish I'd had more time to really talk to him. i remember my first year of camp i kept an eye on you because you seemed really damn cool (i was infact right one zillion persent) i shaired afew meals with you and talked a bit. then this year you came to ruths party. it was really nice having somone there to talk to that wasnt looking at certan parts of my body. within that week i bult a lot of respect for you in a section of my soul. i feel like i can come to you when i fuck up big or need to yell at a male and i hope i can do the least for you even if you will never beleve me or understand why ryland i have a great deal of respect for you i still do. may you find your inner light and have faith in your path. even when you walk alone i will still be there even if its just in spirit.
