I've had so many fun times with her...in particular I remember a whole day spent with her, Forest & Denise (& I think Melissa B.) at an intentional community in Occidental, weeding in their orangic garden in the rain, with purple, numb fingers...chatting with all the members, piling mulch onto the beds, sharing lunch at the common house...then piling back into Forest & Selena's car, cranking up Sarah McLachlan, and driving back laughing and talking, warming our hands in front of the heaters and eating bread and carrots and passing around camp photos. A moonlit wild drive with her and Melissa with the Cranberries' "No Need to Argue" blaring on the stereo. Sitting in the Mill Valley hair salon with her and Danielle trying to convince Danielle to get a Brad Pitt haircut. Selena is a great person to hang out with. ;) I love ya bunches, girl! ~Rosie Selena is such a wonderful person. She is warm, open, and really nice to everyone. She's fun too! If you ever are playing suck 'n' blow, make sure she's on your team! :) Hehe.. I hope I get to know her better. I love you Selena, you rock! ~Curi Selena is the person I feel that I connected with best at camp this year(2nd session 2000) She is beautiful and understands me so god damn well I can't beleive it!! I remember on the day people went to the beach we spent all day together and lay in the sun for hours talking about everything. She has really neat things to say and I am not sure how I would of survived with out her with me. She is a fantasticly wonderful sexy moon godess who writes amazing letters and lives way to far away from me, you are rose petals and so much there is no way I could say it all, I love you!!!! Emily Selena is upstairs and gorgeous and flirty and beautiful and smart and talented and laughing right now and soft and strong and intelligent and moving towards what she wants slowly but getting there at her own pace and a traveler and going to visit me someday (please?) and flingable (ya know what I mean...) and is learning faster and faster with each experience she lives through. She's got everything she wants at her fingertips, all she's got to do is access them by reaching out a little further each day. Take a risk, jump at something. You're 18 Selena is one of the best people I know! She is absolutly gorgeous and attractive of course. A really good flirt - one of my favorite people to flirt with! She is one of my favorite people to spend time with and I'm so glad I came here (to her house) for these past couple of weeks so that I could get to know her better. I love the fact that whenever I need to I can just go talk to her and she'll listen even when I'm rambling about absolutly nothing (which anyone who knows me knows that I do a lot!). She's extremley supportive and very trustworthy. She is so much fun to be around (did I already say that?)! I'd have to say she is definatly one of the best friends a person could have. I love you Selena! ~ Irina I can't believe it's taken me this long to write anything about her! But I really wanted to do her justice when I did write, so... Selena reminds me of a heroine of a gothic novel. She is the epitome of selflessness. She never asks anything for herself, but will go out of her way to make you feel comfortable. She's funny, snuggly and will listen to you for hours on end about any isty-bitsy problem you have on your mind. She is never anything less than perfectly honest, but in such a tactful and careful way as to make sure you never get hurt. She is intelligent to the point of near-genius and wise beyond her years. She knows my deepest, darkest secrets and my greatest weaknesses Lena is simply a beauty, inside and out. She’s amazingly calm and understanding. Sense I first met her in 98 there was an instant feeling of being able to talk to her about anything. She IS my one and only bubble wrap sister, and really knows how to get in to the sprit of things and have fun. She sees what she wants and with amazingly little hesitation, goes straight for it! I truly admire your bravery Lena, you go places and do things that would hold most people up just from fear and inhabitation, and always you go with an open hart and a ready hug. I love you! ~Becky~ I've had the unexpected pleasure of spending more time with Selena than any other person I've met through camp, and I've never even been to a session with her! Selena's a wonderful person and whenever I'm with her I feel appreciated (and loved, 'cuz she always tells me she loves me... dear girl!), and even relieved, as if I don't have to put on pretenses or worry that anything I might do would cause her to dislike me. Even though I think she doubts it because of my sometimes understated behavior, I really consider her a special friend... more than just a person I like and admire, but a person I feel comfortable and at ease with. I love you, Selena. jeff I heard about Selena a lot (I stress the word 'lot') through my loverly sister Lotus, and met her... I met her... when the hell did I meet Selena anyway? Well whatever, I eventually met her, and she's simply a wonderful person to know. One of the first campers who didn't almost throw me into a body bag and ship me to Eugene in order to get me to camp, she told me I should go only if I really wanted to, as opposed to some people (who's names will go unmetioned, cough JessicaSkater cough) who told me I had to go. She made me feel very welcome into the... ah, community and she's just a (dare I say it?) fabulous (too late, I did) person who I look forward to seeing again.
