shayna is amazing ... she is so ready up for adventure, it seems, and I will be thrilled beyond belief if she ends up going to California with me. And everyone else has said this, but it's true..! she's such a beautiful person. She needs to write to me more and I need to call her. I think I first got to know her on the bus to the beach..I think me and Katherine M and her were talking about living in rural areas vs. urban areas and SUVs or something... oh Shayna, you are so awesome!!!!! -eira

oh. shayna. i'm sorry but there is just no way to describe her. i mean, all sorts of beautiful words come to mind, she's thoughtful and loving and pretty and lovely and incredibly graceful and sweet, but...why do those not add up to shayna right? she is so much more, such a kindred spirit...she drove forty miles to pick me up so i could go to lotus' halloween party. for one day. i remember seeing her in the airport and everyone was all excited and nervous and just looking at her, you knew everything was gonna be alright. she has this overpowering calmness that seems impossible to disinigrate. she is beautiful, and wind loves her.

Shayna is so lovely and wonderful! At camp, I remember talking to her between sessions and thinking how much I liked her, and how it was incredible that this was her first year at camp, because she seemed so at ease. Shayna has such a feeling of strength and wisdom about her that I love. Her writing is incredible, we did a poetry marathon at Lotus' Halloween party, and everyone in the group was awed by her powerful, gorgeous, unique writing style. And god damn but the girl is beautiful!! I was thrilled that she let me do her makeup at the Halloween party because it was just so fun working on someone who already looked like a model! Drop dead gorgeous is that girl! She's the kind of person you first glance at, then do a double take, then ask "Who is that?" I miss you Shayna. ~Becky~

Shayna is amazing and wonderful and unique and beautiful and she looks good in just about anything. She's a great person to go on an unexpected 2,000 mile road trip from Washington to Minnesota, which I have had the pleasure of doing with her. She is soo patient and calm, she didn't even flinch (too much) at Ted driving her car in slightly slushy/snowy conditions at 70mph on backcountry roads in Wisconsin. She has an aurau of calm and peacefulness around her. If anyone can do puppy dog eyes and do it good, its Shayna! She is great fun to drive around in cities where nobody in the car knows where they are going, and has amazing reflexes to take turns so quickly after shouting out "GO RIGHT, LEFT, STRAIGHT.". Shayna always has this relaxed sort of excitement about her. She has always been there when I need to talk to somebody, and is great at spontaneous, fun, interesting conversation. She is a great tap dancer. Mike

I loves Shayna. the honerary Erin. she is the absolute cutest person i know. she can make you do anything if she looks at you the right way and uses her really high squeaky voice. and she's so huggable. she draws the BEST hug buttons i've ever seen. she's so calm and exciting at the same time. i love you more than chocolate cake. *kiss* ~erynne
