Franny is violently seized from the far left, just beyond the corner of her eye. Franny does not shriek, much, because she is One Strong Girlie. Franny feels herself suddenly smooshed to the floor and hugged extreemely lovingly. Franny unsmooshes her eyes to see an exuberant and glad-to-see-you-Kim, holding a bouquet of zinnias picked from her garden just for Franny. Franny laughs. Kim laughs. They go out to tea and discuss the care of one's watermelons and play hopscotch and blow bubbles and feel lovely. Franny and Kim, unfortunately, wake up. Franny hears a whisper in her ear, we'll be together soon, darling. Every thing is gonna be all right.

Franny! I love you so damme much. Hot apples and cinnamon and toilet paper fairies and little smiles that bounce along the path and you have to tackle them and stick 'em in your pocket for later. You remind me of that. And also on the train, you remember we were singin that song about we come from the ocean, livin in the ocean, go back to the ocean, and you sang, we come from notbacktoschool Camp, go back to notbacktoschool camp,...turn the train around. and it was funny and we all laughed and cried. i miss you franny.

franny! wow! what an absolutely amazing girl you are..you are like joy & hope & sadness & living-through-it-allness all wrapped up in one wonderful person. kat gives you the biggest hug she can manage, wraps you up in a comfy blanket, & kisses your nose
