| Storrys About Adam B |
when i saw adam's room for the first time i told him it was like the perfect place to be a dominatrix in, he was a very good sport about it hehe...i also remember one time we were all sitting around talking about things being wholesome, or not, and he was like, yeah, that's wholesome like ramen noodles! which was a phrase i heard used like 97 billion times afterwords so it would probably make a good bumper sticker. jenny
on election night Adam lead those of us in #cursebush on IRC in a couple of terrific curses agains Dubya Bush. Including a yoga curse, which I had a hard time doing because I was laughing so much. He totally restored my sense of perspective, and thus my sanity.
My favorite story of all time. I'll keep it short, if I can!
It takes place in the woods of Wisconsin in the middle of the night. I was meditating by the fire, a strange orange light in the middle of the ink darkness surrounding me. Everyone else was in the tents talking about sex, and being typical teenagers. Heh. Yeah. So Adam came back from the house, and he sat down on the log across from me, and we both meditated for a long time. It was very powerful. Anyway. After a while, I jumped up and said "I'm going to hug a tree", and he said "Good for you!" So I hugged the tree for a minute, which was also quite powerful, and then I came back and mused, "I think it would be lovely to meditate under a tree, don't you think?"
"That's a good idea", he said, "I think I'll do that."
So he disappeared into the darkness and found a tree nearby to meditate under. I returned to the fire and went into somewhat of a trance state. Somewhere over time it felt enternal the forest reverted to a primal state, and I felt evil around me. And then suddenly a flash of a dream came to me. An old god demanded a sacrifice, and I realized in that moment that Adam was in danger. I got up and shone my flashlight around, trying to remember what tree he was near. I called his name softly. "Adam..." because it felt like a sin to speak too loudly in this eerie and enchanted place. I walked all around the area, still calling him, but there was no answer. He had disappeared into thin air. The wind moaned through the trees.
Unfortunately the ending of this story isn't too exciting. He went back to the house, and I was in too much of a trance to hear him walk right past me. I was pretty pissed off at him for a while for scaring me like that, but Adam's always good at scaring people. Heh. I should make up a new ending.
