| Cult Movies |
So, I was thinking, we should start a list of movies everyone should see. You know what I'm talking about... not nessarily those movies that're GREAT MOVIES... not nessarily those movies that're well done, well produced, and well written... I'm not talking Titanic, Star Wars or fuckin' The Fugitive here folks. I'm talking CULT CLASSICS [1]. Those movies that you saw in the movie theatre and hated but then rented a month later with your friends and loved. Those movies you rent and laugh at or feel good because of or watch for the aliens or get ALL MESSED UP IN THE HEAD ABOUT. Those movies that 50% of people hate and DESPISE and 50% of people LOVE with all their little hearts. Those movies you see with a bunch of friends and feel special because you LOVED it and you know that you're one of the select few in the world who did. These could be movies that're GENIUS due to their script/imagry or movies that're TERRIBLE... but SO terrible and low budget that they're GOOD and HILARIOUS. These movies you might not even LIKE yourself, but for some goddamn unexpliable reason you have a couple of friends who can't stop watching them! I've started the list (Devided into four catogories), but please feel free to add because firstly, I know that I forgot a shitload and secondly, there's nothing more handy than having a list of cult classics laying around.
Remember:
1) There's nothing wrong with having a movie in more than one catogory
2) Cult classics only!

[1] A Cult Classic is really up to your own definition. Generally speaking tho', if it was really popular in the theatres it's not a cult classic... unless it's sorta old. Also, I wouldn't say that just because a movie is completely obscure that it's a cult classic either. Also, altho' some cult classics are really BAD, I wouldn't say that just because a movie is BAD it's automatically called a cult classic. For example, I put Evil Dead 2 and 3 on the list, but not Evil Dead 1... because, well, bad is bad (This is of course up for debate, and anyone who feels like Evil Dead 1 has been unjustly slaughtered by me is welcome to add it).
