I know how everybody is really into the mixed tapes, and I would love for anybody to send me some of their kick ass music. But heres something that sparked my mind when I was playing guitar. I don't think I'm very good. But other people have told me they thought I was. So I say, what the hell. Embaress myself. I would love to make, and send a mixed tape of all the songs that I know how to play and sing on the guitar, to anybody that wants one. or if anybody that wants to send me some of their own cover songs, I would be more then appriciative. Right now I am recording it onto many other tapes for all the peoples that wanted them (Rachel, Zen, Kat, Jasmine, Corale, Rhymi, Cory, Adam B, and Tiffany[even though I don't know you].) let me know if any other of you peoples wants one, so that I can go buy some more blank tapes. yay! i think that's a fantastic idea! oh yeah, that is an awesome idea. maybe get a whole system going, so everyone is sure to get one of everyone else's tape... or a mailing tree or something. but yeah, that sounds fantastic.

although i don't know if i know enough songs to make a whole tape... well, i could always just sing something i guess. anyway, i will do that the second i get home on sunday! yay! *hugs* -marina

a great idea! i know i got turned onto some good music at camp, like patty griffin (thanks carsie) and got some obscure ani (thanks evan) and heard a lot of other good stuff green day, etc. i'd love to be part of a mix tape tree-type thing. who wants to head up organizing it?witch baby

I would love to get mix tapes or burned CD's or whatever from people. Ani Difranco, Tori Amos, camp songs,Barenaked Ladies, Goo Goo Dolls. Good music of all kinds. Mostly into Alternative but open to new ideas. (this is starting to sound like a personal add for mix tapes!) Though I can't sing worth a damn and I've never made a mix tape . . . I would like to try to record myself reading my performance stuff, some of my camp writings, etc. It would take forever to fill up a whole tape, but I could try! ; ) So I'd be willing to trade with that. i'd be happy to make mix tapes for anyone who sends me one or asks really nicely...but i dunno if i listen to music y'all like...so like...my point is...um...mix tapes are good! it's all good! so if you are into (or open to trying new things such as) nin, gravity kills, tool, alice in chains, pearl jam, or random japanese pop music, or ani, or tricky, etc, and are willing to make *me* a tape of your awesome music (it would be really cool to hear people's own stuff or spoken word or whatever too!), then like, i'll make ya a tape...and put pretty stickers on the package! love Jenny

I typically like to personalize mix tapes, but if a lot of people are doing this, I'm just going to make a generic one to send out. It would make my eternity if people sent me any and all mix tapes. I think i'll go with Cory's idea: I'll send a mix tape to anyone who sends me one. :) hmm, they will mostly be punk and ska. since i don't have much else. but i'll try to do different styles of ska and punk, so it has a little variety. Now i must go buy blank tapes. Royanne

Your mix tapes will be greatly appreciated. I will make you one too if I like yours a lot (I will don't worry). I'm not too much into Ani, although I'm sure everyone else is, so take it easy with her. On that subject; I'm really easy with good music, so please introduce me to new stuff. JOnah

I’ve got a blues (related) collection of about 175 albums now, if anybody wants any roots music (Robert Johnson, Coaltrain, the Kings) or some newer Hendrix, KWS, Derek Trucks type stuff I’d be happy to trade. I’m going through this rock-a-billy/swing thing right now but really I love anything that’s not rap, techno or recorded with more computers then musicians

I would love to trade mix tapes! I don't have tons of time to make them, but right now I'm on a mixtape-making kick, and can put out a few. Jazz, celtic/irish, acoustic rock, blues, folk, bluegrass, old rock, these are my main areas, and I think I've got a pretty spiffy CD collection by now. Introduce me to some new music, too!
