Mix Tapes Chain Letter

Okay, here's the idea. What if we started a mix tape chain letter type thingy? Anyone who is interested, e-mail me! I think it would work kinda like this.... I get a list of at least 5 ppl interested, I'll send a mix tape to the 1^st person on the list, add my name to the bottom, and than the person who I sent the tape to does the same thing (sending the person at the top a mix tape, adding their name to the bottom) and maybe sending it the letter to 5 more ppl..... hmm? What do you guys think??? E-mail me at dieda_marie at hotmail.com if your interested, and I'll send out the 1^st tape, and 5 letters..... it would be cool, 'cause we'd all get mix tape (or burned cds) in the mail... ~Jasmine S. :)

YES YES YES!!!! me too!!!! I am not an experianced mix-tape-maker though so everyone would have to bear wth me;) but I LOVE this idea!!! What happens is I copy the one I get and send it and a new one to the next person and then a copy of the new one to the person before me. Right? I am a little bit confused. Franny

Here's another idea:

Someone could send a tape off that has one song on it. Then that person could add a song to it, and send it off to another person, and everyone could keep adding songs.. then when the tape was finally full, whoever ends up with the final tape could start a new one, and post on here what the final track line up for the tape was.

I agree with RoyaBoya, let's do both! Zen could start the first tape with one song, and I'll start the mix tape thingy..what do ya think? Anyways, count me in for both, I definetely want to be one of the ppl who add a song to the other tape, I think it's a really cool idea. I just need some address's!!!!! • Okay, I'm willing to start the ultimate homeschooling mixtape thing, but I'm trying to decide if I should just send it off and get it going or if I should first find out who's actually willing to pass it on. Because I think it would suck for someone who's totally not interested in the idea to get the tape and it to be stuck with them forever... maybe if we could start a list of people who're interested? -Zen

• I think starting a list is a goood idea, than you could send the tape with the 1^st song on it out, and include a list of ppl to send it too. Kinda like a chain letter, but different in the sense that it would only be sent to ppl who have their name on the list? So.... should we e-mail you our address's for it? 'Cause I totally want to be part of it! And..... I'll be sending the first mix tape out either tomorrow or tuesday....so if anyone is interested, and hasn't sent me their address...now's the time! Hello!

You've recieved this letter because someone thought you would enjoy making & reciving a mix tape or burned cd. This is how it works.

You make a mix tape or burned cd of your favorite music, and send it to the person whose name is at the top of the list. You then remove that person from the list, add your name & address to the bottom and send this letter to five friends who would be interested in this mix tape chain letter. Everyone should recieve at least five mix tapes or cds in the mail after this letter has been circulated a few times. Have fun, and enjoy the music!

Update

All of the letters were sent out (2?) weeks ago, and Mari had a thought. What if instead of copying the letter, and sending it to 5 ppl, you did the same thing with the address's (taking the top one off, adding yours to the bottom) and than only sent that letter to one person? This way everyones address's don't go all over the place, and isn't quite so risky etc... So anyway, tell me whatcha think! ~Jadzia aka Jasmine S.~

• I don't like that idea as much... I mean... it'd be nice 'cause of the added safety, but I don't think there's much risk involved, plus, if you only send it to one person, you'll only get one mixed tape.

Yeah, it doesn't seem as fun if we don't get as many tapes. I think that we should all just try to be a little careful about where we send the letter, y'know? There are people out there who would love to have a list of 15 or more people's full names and home addresses... Maybe I'm a little paranoid, but if we're all careful there shouldn't be any problems. Just don't go passing the letter to strangers on the street, maybe? I dunno. : ) Mari

well now im confused!!! i just got the chainletter. do i make up a full tape or what now? i think that a song and sending it out would be so so so cool. better then the tape thing. so pleas fill me in cuz im confused. *mush* *gush*

• oki, here's how it works ;) you make a full mixed tape, and send it to the person whose name is at the top of the list. Than remove that person's name, and add your name & address to the bottom.
