overflowing with kindness. the moment i met her, she was there for me, just bubbling with this caring, sweet, beautiful support. she's so comfortable, so amazing.. she's so cute, and fun. she's so easy going, that if i needed to just be hugged, or be around someone, i knew that she was the person to go to. susy is so beautiful. so cheerful. but not annoyingly so, she can just be quiet and sweet, and great to go lean against. she listens. i think i could tell her anything. on the bus ride back to eugene, i was feeling SO down, and SO low, and she made sure to sit by me, and held my hands the whole way. i am so wonderfully thrilled to count her among my friends. love you susy.. Susy is a super-wonderful friend o' mine who dances and has purple on the ends of her hair and who reminds me that I can do things even when I think I won't be able to. She's supportive and sweet and talented, and I have never identified her as anyone but herself(as opposed to "Samantha's sister", etc.), because above and beyond whatever her relationships with other people may be, she is Susannah, always and forever. It is as simple as that. -Amy

Headstrong, independent and inspiring. She can fix just about anything. She has stage presence like you couldn't believe, and is absolutely drop-dead gorgeous. Most of the time, she's the only person I'll feel safe talking to about something sensitive, because I know she'll a) keep quiet about it and b) will give me her honest opinion on the matter. She ain't afraid to tell it like it is, and can pervert-that-line with the best of them. Best of all, I get to live with her! -Sammmy

I never spoke to Susannah until the last full day when I was going through about 3 hours of total self loathing and hating a certain male... and I was sitting on a stump and watching the certain hated male from a distance and she came over and sat on the stump across from me for a while...and we talked and I immediately felt completely safe talking to her, like she wouldn't judge me for it, that she wasn't going to run and tell everybody else...the made my emotions completely turn around in that ... oh, about hour talk, sitting there with her and Cory and I. Probably one of the best times at all of camp. And you made it happen, Susannah! Also, I didn't know for a long time that she was Samantha's sister and so I never thought of her as Sam's sister but instead, just as Susannah, a totally beautiful person inside and out that I wished I could have talked to more! Okay, there were alot of folks at camp, and there were alot that I didn't talk to. But when I look back one of the people I regret most (I regret not talking to everybody alot, but I regret not talking to her alot-alot-alot) was the wonderful and talented Susannah. Now she has a beautiful voice, and alot of other talents, that would be probably to numerous to count, and she seemed so nice, so I'll just say this: I think you're cool, and I'd like to get to know you better. - Jonah

Susannah is one of the best friends I've ever had. She will listen to me whenever I need to talk even when I'm rambling about nothing or not making sence. She is there for me whenever I need her. She is an absoulutly amazing dancer, and a beautiful voice (I have serious voice envy). I love her sence of humor too. I remember Susannah vaugely at camp, but I didn't really talk to her until the last couple of days of Session 2. My first really clear memory of her is at the All So Rad circle. I don't really remember much anyone else said (Okay Robyn is an exception) because the whole thing seems so trite to me.. but Susannah really stands out. She gave me all these super cool compliments and seemed really genuinly enthralled when I told her how rad she is. And she is! She's always there when you need her, to offer her support, a shoulder to lean on, and the BEST hugs. She's really stunning, and sings like an angel. Plus she's a thespian. Score! On the first day of camp when all the kids gathered at the train station, I was just kind of standing off to the side not sure what to do or think when this beautiful smiling girl walked up to me and said"hi I'm Susannah" and gave me a big hug and she made me feel so happy and welcome. Susannah is beautiful and amazing and accepting (and I agree with Jasmine, it was nice to know her as susannah and not sam's sister because I didn't realize it 'til I got home) franny

Okay, my previous entry seems hilarious now. It's crazy to think that I haven't even known Susy a year, considering how close we are now. She's one of those rare people who I just seemed to have 'clicked' with really fast and I now consider one of my best friends. More than just a best friend, I can't see myself ever not knowing Susy. Susy AMAZES me on a constant basis. There are oceans of depth to this girl.. she has talent and the incredible capactity to be completely relaxed and professional around people at work or at the theatre.. something I'm terrible at! She's beautiful when she sings. She's beautiful when she dances. She is beautiful. And she never seems to let ANYTHING get in her way of whatever it is she wants. Motivation = Susy. It's true! She is a big cuddily ball of light in my life right now, and forever. Okay, I better stop before I make someone sick.. I love you Susy. Mwah!

as is unavoidable, there are people i wish i had talked to more at camp. and with those words come the images of the faces you wish you'd spent more time smiling with, and it's Susannah's beautiful face that is now clearly on my mind. i talked to her a tad, enough to make it extremely obvious that she was and is a good-hearted girl deserving of much, and seemingly as humble as she is friendly. i felt welcome and comfortable in her presence, and wish i had taken more opportunities to talk to her. next year, i pray! my best thoughts are with the girl. ~naomi
