Okay, like many others, I thought I should have a place for my ramblings and longish updates on what & how i am doing! Other pages: TiffanyC (my AllSoRad page)~ TiffanyInOne (the short version of what i am doing/where to contact me) ~ www.cosisupergal.diaryland.com (my online diary site besides this page) ~ www.dreamwater.com/fanfic (west west fanfic and my favorite links) 3/13 (tuesday): below is talking to "j" about the 3/10-3/11 (sat-sun) camp-in: LOL, jake/steve totally twisted my words around and now think that there is at least one guy and multiple gals that think steve's hot. *rolls eyes* and then they are like "we really want ot know about this guy" (< let's see... i feel i am getting closer to a lot of the people in the shop, maybe it's because i am there all the time. but i dont mind because i love really getting to know people. not the usual surface stuff from just being co-workers. -like jake asking me if i'd seen the harry potter promo (he remembered that we had made that connection! i was kinda surprised!), and we talked about it for a few mins.. the whole "who thinks steve is hot" thing... them both coming out to dancemania at least 3 different times that i can remember, and steve once by himself.. -nate i've been talking to him for real, like i am hearing stories about him/his life and stuff, because from the start i've told him whatever.. -jessica & steph just cool chicks.. for quite awhile i never was working the same day as jess, and i always thought steph hated me cuz she'd tease me in what could be seen as "in a mean way".... -aaron i used to be scared of... -i can't even find words to explain mark. one minute he's playing his nsync cd and singing along, the next being bitchy, then asking me how i am doing, etc. he seems to mostly be extremes in either directions in either is lots of fun, smiling, happy, laughing or in this sorta dark mood -cory has the most energetic & sparkling personality and persona and whatever that i've seen. i love her hair (red!), we talk a lot alike, she dresses spiffy keen (99.9% of the time i've seen her, she's not in the look. as she told me, she doesn't have to wear it if she dresses nice instead), she's pretty, been nice to me since day 1... below is talking to Jessica about the same camp-in: katie is cool, but i've only done a couple camp-ins with her (the first one or two, and then the one this past sat-sun).. joe plays h2o joe sometimes, he has got blond hair, not a very good dancer, really kind/nice...(just like brent's the "too cool to have people get to know me" vibe, has red hair, good dancer and jonathan's the "i must have a headset", tall, dark hair, smiling/laughing every second i see him, moving every part of his body/getting really into it during dancemania) it was funny, shannon said she saw (or her & kelly saw?) a small group of girls talking about h2o joe (who for this wkends campin was jonathan) and going "he's so <dreamy>" during the evening... during the morning when he was about to go on the team elevator, a couple of girls were like "jonathan! jonathan!", went over and hugged him, and were asking when he was going to dolphins... brent and jonathan i just know superficially... i'd love to know them better, like actually talk to them about things, not just cosi stuff like "where do you have next?"...but i just know them as hot guys who i work with. ;-) steve (in the shop) is cool. i normally use that word in a general meaning for people who are awesome, but when i talk about steve, he really is cool. talks to me and holds nothing back (as far as i know).. from cosi stuff, to whats going on with me, to a term paper he is writing, to whatever... he'll actually come out to dancemania, and i bet he would even without my proding (which i do to make sure he comes out ;-)).. and he is without a doubt my favorite dancer i've ever seen (and known)... below is talking to Adam about the same camp in.. elizabeth is one of the coolest chick i've ever known ~ i think. but i mean if steve & jake (who are two of 'my boys'. they are paid team in the shop) think she's hot, that means something. plus me saying how great she is and i've only known her for a couple months (since mid-jan when campins started). she gave me a valentine on the sat before v-day (a blues clues one!), and a birthday card on my bday (she was there that camp-in and the one this wkend.). and we were both dissing joe [paid team. campin.]. that was so fun! i was getting a drink of water, but i saw elizabeth/joe at the end of the hall, so i went down there. i was calling him "traitor" cuz he had something thurs night so he couldn't do that campin (i had started that nickname last wk when he told em he couldn't come)... elizabeth said how she was the one who covered his spot thurs.. and i mentioned the bday card, and she's like "yeah, i got that before i was even gonna be working on your bday" and joe's like "your making me look/feel bad!" and then we got into "dissing him".. jonathan (another campin paid team) was there at both camp-ins (my bday & this wkend); and i gave him a glowstick from the shop (that had been broken) cuz he asked me.. <side note: cosi people ask me all the time how i got glowsticks!> and then today he was wearing a coat and stuff, so i guess he was leaving soon or something.. but he asked if anyone had any candy, i did, so i gave him some twizzlers ~ he was waving the glowstick around dancemania on thurs and it was funny... QUOTES: Show of the Week : One of the things that sets The West Wing apart is writer Aaron Sorkin's skill at doling out information. We know the first lady is angry, but we don't find out why until later — and the reason catches us off guard. (She realized a change in the president's speech meant he was going to run for re-election.) We see Donna urge Josh to ask another woman out; we learn at the end of the episode that she's doing it because she's afraid he'll see how much she likes him herself. Most shows would have hammered those points home early and often; West Wing trusts us to wait. But what a shocker at the end, huh? The president has another daughter? Who knew? USA Today 2/19 Overall, I found it uneven. Obviously, I've never met a WW episode I didn't love, but I thought this one really suffered from weak directing. Jessica Yu is part of a pilot program to train minority directors and she's been interning on the show for a the past few months and then at the end they let her direct an episode all on her own. I think this would have been a completely fantastic one if Tommy had directed it. Or Laura Innes. Or Paris Barclay. Or Christopher Misiano. I also felt that, while Rob was good, he just isn't up to par with the other amazing actors on this show, and couldn't quite carry a major storyline as well. I was glad he finally got his chance to try, but I wish they'd given him one with a stronger director. I think he really would have benefited from guidance by a more experienced hand. I did love that we finally got to see a personal side of Sam. And I also loved that they put him with Donna. Excellent. When she hugged him at the end, I was all "That's the hug you should have given her at the hospital when Toby told her about Josh, you cold-hearted freak!" Susannah on the WW eppy SGTE, SGTJ "i feel older. always have. but mainly, i just wish people would put less emphasis on age and focus more on who i am. age doesn't define anything about me, and lots of people have immediate responces to my age which affect how they see me as a person. it sucks." naomi 3/8: tomorrow is my birthday. yippee skippy. Anyway it's midnight on march 8, which means 25 hrs & 22 mins until I am officially 16. also means 12 hours 'till I am at COSI? for 22 hours. West Wing was kickin'. I really need to rush off to bed, but I liked it as a whole a lot better then the episodes from the past two weeks (Bartlets Third State of the Union and The War At Home). Hail to the women.. The surgeon general rocks (her scene with Josh in her office and the scene with The President in the Oval Office esp. moving). CJ saying she wants to quit, like how many times? was funny. A surprise (to me) appearence by Andi. Ellie is very pretty, and i loved the parts of the show with her in them, wish there was more. But hey, Josh and Sam (chewing out "that guy about that thing") were good too..and shock! Toby saying "good job" to Sam while throwing him a ball (or is it a hackysack?)! Surprisingly I didn't mind the lack of Donna.. Law & Order wasn't that great. But next week, with the reality show thing (that looks a lot like the real world =)...), at least via the promo, it looks really good. maybe i'll try to remember to tape it. daily horoscope: The time you've spent listening your inner guidance has paid off all at once. Dad & I stopped at the po box on the way home from cosi ~ no gel pens! =( from my real-life notebook: underlying, undenying pressure. i am the one who feels it I'm sure. It isn't just fun and games. Work is involved. As is never breaking down. No tears, anger, getting sick. I already broke the last one after being here 5 months. It will not happen again. I drive myself to strive higher then before. Being unique is rough ~ but I stay ahead of the same. 2000 hours this time. In 2 1/2 years. People don't understand ~ it isn't about being regonized, but by whom, with what, when will it be, there is of couse cosi, the way cuz of my 2000, how ties w/ what. It will hopefully be by s2go people *and* camp-in, now that would be cool (on april 7.) but the big issue with what/how?! I hae 7 weeks. My friends are like "You should have *something*!" ~ and they don't seem to understand. I am trying! Food just doesn't cut it. I've earned more, deserve more. W&G @ 9. Tuesday: TV-wise, maybe a basketball game, depending on who's playing. Wednesday: My usual West Wing ("Ellie")/Law & Order ("A Loosing Season") General: This is my days, where I do school work, piano practice, catch up online (reading emails, going to websites, talk to friends on IM), and so forth. Feb 22 ~ My work at COSI day. Inching closer to 1800. Working with the usual suspects I assume (Sylvia, Angela, Nate, Stephanie, Dale, Mark, Lena). Of course W&G and ER (NBC's Spotlight Show of the Week, ER's 150 th episode, called The Golden Hour) tv-wise. None of this Survivor 2 or "super size Friends" junk. ~~ From this day, only 2 weeks & 1 day until my birthday, 2 weeks & 5 days until I get my braces off, 6 weeks & 2 days until my 2000 hrs, 6 weeks & 4 days until I leave for Taiwan.. ;-) Feb 23 ~ Growing Together (? - if the project is going to be fun), otherwise try and do one lesson of SOMETHING school work wise, and practice piano before... my lesson. Not to mention checking the PO Box, and an all-new SVU @ 10. 2.16: i was sick from 2/4-2/10. 2/3: Okay, I get there around 3. I "work" in the shop until 7. (including misc times walking out of the store and seeing if Meg's here, talking to CI paid team (asked elizabeth if she'd fill out my survey later, she said yeah), talking to Trevor (he got there around 3:45?) ~ but mostly just chilling with nate, aaron, dale, jake, steve, cory, beth, catie (?), corey w (he is friends with ci paid team jonathan!).) then I ate dinner, by myself, in the lunchroom. for an hour i was in the atrium, with the 'water' tank (730-830). 830-9 I was mixed up on my schedule, I thought it said "greet g1" (btw, joe (in blue costume) & two others were the people i think), but i guess it wasn't, but by the time i noticed it was like, 15 'till 9, so i went into the shop. :) 9-930 I was in the atrium, pretty much w/ the obleck until 930, time for my break, after sat down for a moment, i ended up going to the store around 5-10 'till 10, and didn't leave (lost track of time, was helping nate setting more sale stuff on the shelves) until 10:20. I ran into lindsay/chris, and went upstairs (3rd floor!) with them. they went over an evaluation, i was gonna take white star.. then i realized i have one for workshops. so i am getting evaluated next week, then i can take green star. i am hoping it is between 10-11, so i can skip cleaning, and do dancemania (or on sunday, like instead of some 'inventory' work). so i went downstairs, helped cleaned, dance mania for half-n-hour (like 1105 to 1135...) ~ that is the coolest! [except i don't do the macarena. :p, but i saw jake 'n steve doing it so i tapped on the glass and pointed to out there, i guess they took it as 'come see me' (i meant it as 'come out here and dance'), cuz later cory told me the whole staff was standing by the door trying to see my little head bobbing but didn't see me)].. i love it when we have cosi 'dances' to the songs! pizza party only i don't eat the pizza, then i went to the shop (where dale, nate, and cory were waiting, make sure i got my bag, how sweet ;))... next of course is bedtime, didn't go to sleep until 1-130? got up around 630? so, i actually got some sleep. in the morning was wake up & get stuff put away & such... breakfast, then breakfast line (but from 755-almost 815 i went upstairs cuz joe 'n marie told me the surveys are upstairs on 3rd floor conference table and then i went up there) until 825.. planning games and a lil bit of me helping (cuz i asked them, but the didn't have much for me) until maybe 930? then after that, until 11, i was setting up for the day program. then went home. did see jim, & talked to him for a sec in the morn ~ saw myron several times... oh yeah, interns were moe/ben(/chris but not overnight) ~ regular volunteers lindsay, carrie, trevor, ~ paid team joe (who owes me a survey ~ was giving me & other cosi ppl red altoids and a bunch of girls who were dancing wanted some), elizabeth (who gave me one back), christine (gave me hers while i was working), karen 'n stephanie 'n stuff (saw, but didn't really work with or anything), and more that i can't remember or do, and don't remember their name. still waiting for (among people): brent (wasn't working) ~ stephanie ~ joe ~ sean hickey (camp-in), cory ~ mark ~ dale ~ steve (s2go) sally, ... other i've gotten back recently: jessica, sylvia (s2go), steph mcmorrow, theresa (ocean), marie (ci) 2/2: REMINDER FOR ME: surveys from: dale, mark, ~ brent, stephanie, christine get the one from jessica out of my mailbox 5-12 ~ nate, dale, aaron, jake, steve, beth 3-9 ~ corey w. 12-630 melissa ~ need to decide whenever i get there 'till 430? 5? 7? or 11? daily horoscope That old saying 'look before you leap' doesn't apply to you today, Pisces! Jump into the pool and start swimming 2/1: short little tidbits: Nate wasn't there today. I played Spaceoply with Tenzin in the atrium from like 10-1130, and with steph/dale 4-5. demoed stuff 1245-130 with tenzin (walking around cosi with toys!). got 1700, and mark announced it @ mm. cosi was completely dead. the new system is here (i think). rich boy owes me $5. my chica meg wasn't there, and i didn't see her on IM. jordan/sarah walked to subway and it was closed. holly had this kickin' outfit, purple pants and a blue shirt. gave surveys to dale, mark, cassie and got from stephanie m., theresa, sylvia, jessica. it's a guys world tomorrow; nate, dale, jake, aaron, steve, beth (not sure which one?) are working the 5-12 shift. i am working the sometime between 3-4 to 11 shift. ;-) @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ daily horoscope This world is one of diversity, Pisces. Wow. the whole Olivia-Ashley thing was great, as in my favorite parts of the episode. Benson and ADA Cabot going to Cragen's office about persuing the case. Alas, only 4 hrs until I'm leaving. I better go eat, take a shower, pack my stuff, etc. 1/26: Didn't post yesterday.. i wonder if that's a trend. I did have a smashingly well day at cosi, at least certain parts of it. I am not going to camp this year. I am aiming to go both sessions next year (see a plan here? go two years, don't go two years, go for two sessions for two years.. ;-)), but that's if i have enough money & feel like it when the time comes (ala next year this time when i have to send in my form & deposit). As usual, I have not saved up the money this year (plus I want to spend money I have been saving in Asia this upcoming April and keep saving for things (ala camp, traveling, etc.) in the future), and I have my usual summer plans. Volunteering at COSI. Oh yeah, the difference this year is that I am applying for an internship (at least for june, july, august if not before and/or after that ~ it isn't paid or anything; the main things are more responsiblity, greater power, a cool name badge like the paid team. :)) in science 2 go. Which I am VERY excited about. And no offense, but I think I have an 'in'. I am def. the most active volunteer in the shop (i used to work tues & thurs, now just thursdays because of camp-ins), I work well with (and love!) the paid people and the volunteers (when I get a chance to work with one/some! there isn't very many.), not to mention get along with basically everyone i've met at cosi. have been at cosi for 2 1/2 years (as of april, and also i'll 2000 hrs as of early april if all goes well). etc. etc. Anyway, enough gushing. I should go find something to eat... 1/24: wow. it's really 1130 pm est already? I am getting up @ 620 am (when my 'rents wake me up so they can go on a walk), leave for cosi around 730-745, get to cosi by 8, or at least 8:15 (it only takes like 25 mins usually)... I was sorry I didn't post yesterday, but I am not sure people read this (besides me), so I don't think it really matters. I tried to do plenty of school work yet still do other stuff (like be online ~ oh, and tonight I watched an all-new west wing (see below) and all-new l&o [mom & dad actually watched with me!]).. tomorrow, go to cosi, sleep on the way/way home if possible, i am gonna finish exam 2 of USH when I get home, watch l&o @ 7 (and maybe 11), will & grace @ 9, er @ 10, maybe some nba (on tnt: blazers @ pacers 8 pm and spurs @ kings 10:30 pm)..like if i am still awake. As usual west wing was in high splendor. The Donna & CJ adoring LJM was funny. I want to see more Corey/CJ action! I found there scene together very intriguing. Leo trying to convince The President about missile theme was in character, i loved the Peanuts references the President brought up. Donna I thought was her usual self, like slamming the door onto josh (he was standing straight against a wall in his office) and she just bustled in. It was great to see a lot of Ginger and Bonnie. The scenes with Sam were great, he's always so cute when trying to do things. :) But the best part, has to be the Sam relizing that Toby screwed him, and being so furious at him that the scene at the end with him drinking, Toby finding him and coming to talk to him. Wow. Total angst. And what fanfic I am sure that'll produce. ;-) And now it's 11:45 pm.. up in 6 1/2 hrs or so. Then I had a dentist appointment (that strawberry stuff rocks), piano lesson (which i thought was productive even though i only practiced on monday & wednesday this week), lane avenue; mom went to chicos for a min, then we all went to little professor & got a book (or two) ~ I got Steven King's The Green Mile, while some of my family was eating at the food court i went to hallmark (bought 3 packs of the words stickers, three other packs including two different 'valentine day' type ones), then i bought a conditioner (to go with my shampoo i bought from there last week)), plus i had a coupon.. my mom bought 5 for $10 (anti-bac hand gel & lotion in sweet cinnamon pumpkin, hand soap in maple, eye pencil, & country apple conditioner). when we were leaving isaw this BEAUTIFUL scrapbook, asian design in gold, silver, and black on the outside, black pages in the inside. It was $40 but 60%, so around $16. But I am pretty much broke (besides the money I am saving), so I couldn't get it! =( i got english I (book/study guide) and my 2nd test from psychology (american school) yesterday, today i got my first & third tests and package from cosi (science 2 go ~ i was helping with them yesterday). 1/19: I just realized that people who are reading this (are there any?), might not know what things are. my name is tiffany (duh!). i am an ex-nbster (session 1 in '98 & '99). i haven't been back since, and am not planning to go this year (don't have the money). let me explain some things you may or may not have wanted to know:
1/18 (evening) ~ every week i try to bring something (or more then one) that's different to the cosi world, try to be unique in my very own way... today was (my favoritest stickers ever. ones with words.) stickers; i was showing them some people in the lunchroom, and it turned out by the end of the day either via me or a couple other people (my friend holly bought a whole unopened package of them from me, dj bought the equivlent of half a pack, one of each of the 4 designs)... the people i know of; me, meg, steph (s2go), jessica (s2go), cassie, holly, tabitha, jason, dj, stephanie (ocean ~ ?) AND the phrase 'smashingly well' (it was pretty much used for 'so how are you doing today tiffany?' 'my day is going smashingly well'). Sometimes it's something personal (like i am wearing a new cosi color pants or t-shirt or some kind of jewelry (a ring or/and bracelet) or a new nail polish color.) or a phrase (ala smashingly well ~ it's funny, i don't remember saying 'free slave labor' at all today! it was one of my 'cosi sayings'.. a half-serious and half-joking complaint kind of thing!) or a thing (like the stickers. or for example. near halloween i dressed up as a harry potter-esque type character and handed out candy to cosi people! just remembered! last week i was giving surveys to certain people). 1647.5 + 19 = 1666.5 hrs as of 1/21 (sunday) ~ 1666.5 + 9 = 1675.5 as of 1/25 (thurs) ~ 1675.5 + 19 = 1694.5 as of 1/28 (sunday) ~ 1694.5 + 9 = 1703.5 as of 2/1 (thurs) quotes from IMing with Holly: it was cool, i was just about to close the last door, and my mom comes! anyway, i showed her to where the rings are so she could try them on, and i went to shut the last door, then i put the ring with my stuff i am gonna buy sometime, and then i grabbed my stuff and walked through the store to the back office, and i was like (sorta loud, they were all talking & doing things) "hey everyone, this is my mom!" and nate & mary & mark (and dale?) shook hands with her / interdosed themselves (i just heard them, i was getting my stuff)... marybeth (and mark? i remember mb for sure) saying something about being glad to have me around, that they always try to have even a 1/10th of my energy and i said yeah, like today being smashingly well and everyone (? - lots of them ~ again, i was focused on getting my stuff) laughed. then i said goodbye to everyone, that i would be there saturday for camp-ins .. then a min or two later i had to get my coat, mark who was standing at the door said to tell david happy birthday before i left, so i did ~ as i was getting my coat (and leaving) they (marybeth, mark, dale, mary, nate ~ was lena or/and jessica still there? don't remember) were trying to guess how old david is .. made me chuckle when i had already left the room left at i think 540/541 mw more IMing with holly: anyway, i saw him last week, gave him a survey, on tuesday he said he was done, but didn't have it with him.. i asked him today he said he didn't have it on him, but i told him i'd been in the shop on saturday, 4-1130, for campins..and he said he'd get it to me. CAMP-IN ALERT! Doing one for the first time (so is Nate, I think Lena (and Aaron?) have done them before) this saturday. Should be a blast! I am very very excited. There were moments of happiness (ala Claire & Anita talking while eating chinese food), but overall a depressing episode. 'yeah, i felt very dizzy for a moment, like i was going to faint'.. and for like, a min or two i just stood there by the door, looking at him (very concerned like) and asked/confirming he was okay... (and when i came back a few mins later, he was going out the other door, into the store, i asked if he was gonna be there thurs, he said 'of course, of course. what about you?' i said 'of course. a long with sat.' 'me too but not until 4' i said 'me too, the shop 4-1130, and camp in until 11 am the next day' he was like 'you're sleeping OVER?' 'i'm like yeah. see ya thursday, and be careful not to fall anymore' and he laughed. ~~~ and then the other thing has to do with double a ron, he keeps coming in lately, but he always looks really bad. like coughing a lot. and looking sickly. every time he comes in the past few weeks i tell him he should go home, not be here, is he feeling okay, etc. today he was only around for like 2 hrs (or less). luckily, store hasn't been very busy 1/17/01 ~ midnight?? Since I want to get some sleep, I thought I'd post my 'newly updated IM profile': Lessons For Life 101 (written 12/21/00): I believe the only way I am going to get the experience I need is to enjoy life to the fullest. Finding joy in every *mila* second of each day, to laugh often, and smile more then laugh. Make friends and maintaining the relationships with the ones I already have. Learning the symphony of how things work; focusing on people ~ but the discovery and exploration of life in general is important. Deep, calming things like classical music and bubble baths for when the going is rough. Crying ~ with genuine tears ~ when needed. Dancing when it moves me. Singing constantly.. like one of those non-stop trains.. only stopping once in awhile. Protecting my heart, mind, body, and soul with *everything*. Staying addicted to lip balm; chapped lips are horrid! Royalty is for fairytales in storybooks, not for real life. But I have to say that while the library was 'smashingly well' (finally getting to go! haven't been since dec? if not november?), cosi in general was good (who was there today? angela, jessica, beth, sylvia, jake, aaron, dale, lena, nate ~ get to do shirts every thursday! kickin'! ~ thursday only nate & dale & aaron in the afternoon i think, camp in is aaron, nate, and lena. should be a blast. oh yeah, gotta remember to ask mark about how his dentist appointment went! ~ sucks meg couldn't come ~ and what was up with people needing to talk to me privately today?), watching law & order (11-12) while eating peach ice cream and chatting with my litle sister, getting my sephora.com package, etc. today was only okay. or maybe it's just the fact that i feel like i am exhausted beyond belief ... last night i was going to bed with dread, not about going to cosi, i love that place to death, but about the waking up early part. i shouldn't feel like this. i am tiffany. the 'super girl'. who rarely gets sick, injured, or falls apart in *any* way besides bug bites & the occasional paper cut.
