Whatz Yer Style

Clothes, makeup, fashion, artistic endevours on your own body... Let's talk about your style, what you admire about other people's styles, what things express you? Not only that, but let's talk about styles of acting, things that make the way you act distinct or characteristic, not just clothing.

style noun: a particular, distinctive, or characteristic mode of action, or manner of acting.

in other words, it is not just the close you wear, but more so, how you live, what makes you, you, why you are you, and what you feel shows who you are, so tell us, what is your style?

In addtion to What'sYourStyle, we've got WhatzYerStore, for those who get their style from the brand they wear, the place they shop, and who define themselves in how they look and consume.

Brown loafers with grey soles. Black or dark blue socks. Jeans. (I can wear the same pair for months at a time without realizing it's dirty.) Shirts are solid colors, usually dark greens or blues. My loose-fitting deep-green sweatshirt is my favorite article of clothing this time of year. No hats, except when it's quite cold. Hats and my head haven't gotten along well historically.

Long walks. Moving my legs, listening to the sound of my feet on the pavement, feeling the chill of the air on my cheeks. I don't care where I go most of the time; it's the movement that counts.

Black olives. Low lighting. Stir-fry with noodles cooked until they're crispy. Bach. Stillness. Old, battered paperback books. Small Buddha statues made of slightly rusted metal. Blue China pots full of warm mint tea. Beatles. Whole wheat tortillas. Strange movies. Stuffed animals. Sick humor, of the Terry Pratchett/Monty Python/ Evil Dead 2 variety. Random and fascinating knick-knacks populating a vaguely organized desk. Cats. Skewed but ultimately optimistic worldview. Early-morning scribblings. Mozzarella. Warm, medium-sized kitchens. Candles. --Mitchell

s t y l e. My new favorite activity is deconstructing and reconstructing clothes. This gal can't sew for shit, can't cut straight but this has lended itself ever so well to "my style". Unsymmetrical scoop necks, jagged bias cut skirts and safety pins in the most suave nip n' tuck hemlines, waistlines and front lines. For example. Today I took a recently dyed (pale eggshell blue, thank you very much) wifebeater with icky high neck and back, sliced myself up a lowish cut front and straightish cut back, pinched some of the cleavage-level fabric with mah fingers and fastened through with a safety pin. Ta da! Instant utilitarian ballet chic. Paired with baggy and 40's-esque grey slacks and an uber-sexy leather cuff bracelet, I can't say I look too shabby. My style is black and grey is rubber boots and mules is pencil skirts and indie designer shirts is do it yourself is dress to thrill is tailored coats and scooter jackets is no makeup and burgandy knickers is cigarette in hand and indian prints, tattoos as accessory and blue bowling bags is pinstripe pajamas and rarely a bra, is low strung elephant belt and engine red legwarmers worn on arms, is vintage stockings and mismatched fingernails is celery schoolgirl is two lattés too many is oh so me. ~gabrielle

My style? I've never really thought about it too much... I'm usually wearing baggy pants, and a t-shirt. I own six pairs of converse's, so I'll be wearing a pair of those. I wear boys pants most of the time, because flared pants get on my nerves sometimes. But I still own a few pairs of them because they fit and I need pants. That's the thing about these boys pants, they have no hips! I always have 2-4 earrings in, at least. and I have a studded and a spike bracelet, which I usually wear. I usually get my clothes in thrift stores off of Haight street or Valencia. I hate shopping at old navy, but they sell good clothes that I'll actually wear there so I shop there on occasion. I don't really like tight fitting clothing. And last but not least, I have my random rings, necklaces, and witty pins. --jekissa

Everyone tells me I've got the 40's look. Like when I wear long black-and-white polka-dot skirts and black shirts, boots, the dark curls. But it's not really what I wear, it's just the way I look. Vintage, secret agent, the un-proverbial Bond girl, Casablanca...

When I'm not busy dressing up (and anyone who knows me knows that I absolutely adore dressing up), I like dressing expedition-style. Floppy hats, jeans, t-shirts, jackets and belts, backpack. Comfortable, but ready for anything whether it be climbing mountains or sailing around the world. Traveling clothes.

I like black. I don't try to be "goth" but people ask me if I am all the time. Chains, metal, urban-pixie style.

I like elegance and simplicity. Sometimes I like sexiness, but I can't pull that off as well. I like to look strong but not threatening.

--Eireann

Practicallity and appeal vie in me. Ideally I find myself trusting only the things that will fulfill both needs. Denim. Fountain pens. Roommates I also love. Camera with zoom, but auto focus. Raw frankness lapsing into mush. A paragraph that reads like a song. Blue. Wool. Cotten. No hair (or, conversly, hair long enough to use as a scarf). Bach. Iron skillets. Hand knit socks.

I am more aware of current trends than I chose to be. I am a textile geek (by some inborn instinct, it seems. Not that I mind). I can tell you what to look for in aa well constructed shirt, and haazard a guess at why this year's long skirt fad is made increcingly from man made fibers.

The other thing that makes me satisfyed, is shock value. Twisting perceptions. Unnormal shades of hair. Guys pants. Obscure areas of deep knowlage. Knitting or reading old snooty poetry in public. Musical knowlage that stops at the 1950 s.

~Tessa

"Doo wop/fashion"... I once asked my friend Irina (not the Irina you all know, a different one) to describe how I dress and she said 'Maggie, you're pretty fuckin' weird, that's all I can say.' I love to take normal, pretty style (nice jeans, kilt skirts, black pants, v-neck shirts...) and add something conversation-worthy to it. Some of my favorite little additions - a really trashy looking leather belt with a giant silver lion-shaped buckle, a bright pink leopard shirt, shoulder-length red gloves, Righteous Babe Records hat... Fun stuff. I collect band t-shirts as well. *grin* lurve, Maggie

  • Opera gloves??? You are so cool! :) I have some white opera gloves, they end a little above my elbow..it was the longest length the store had. I love them! - Emma

I care little for fashion, or what is new, or popular, I just do what feels good. I do not wear hats, unless it is cold, sometimes I will wear a bandana, but mostly to keep hair out of stuff, or stuff out of my hair, I like haveing long hair (half way down my back) and most of the time I keep it tied back with a beret, because i have become very fond of them, and their usefullness. my shirts consist of mostly plan T shirts (when it is cold, long sleave T's, with a few buttens at the top), of varying colors, including one tie die, and the only shirts with logos that I can think of, are the ones that have surfbord logos on them... if you live in Wisconsin, no one has any idea what the words or logos meen, so they are left just looking like shirts with pretty grafics on them, I also own/wear a few (15) silk shirts, when i am in the mood/feel like I should wear something difernt (or it happens to be a wensday). my choce in paints has changed alot, I used to have these really cool amish ones that were grey, then I stoped being able to aford them (ie, I turned 18, and started buying all my own cloths) so now I go to good will, look at the paint rack for something like cords, or jeans that have a cut that I can live with (something that has pockets that I can keep stuff in them) as for shoes, I have my pair of cheap dark geen shoes, with rainbow shoelaces (as seen at camp) and a pair of black police combat boots, I do not wear rings, a watch, neclace's... as for the rest of my "style" I like things that last, and work well, and have a little bit of carictor, and are simple, so if needed can be fixed, I like to write in italic coligrafy, when i have time, I try to spell well, but have never been very good at it, I like things that take tallent, and knolege, to do.

--Ryland

Well I have always enjoyed getting dressed up in my funky hippi clothes, but lately I have gone for a more layed back mood. I now tend to go around in dirty blue jeans with a t-shirt and a long sleeved button up flannel shirt that is usually raggedy and dirty and is not buttoned up. As for the shoes that I wear, I tend to stick to convers all stars. One of my pairs is so badly torn up that it is now being held together with duct tape. I'm going to eventually completly duct tape the pair and then they will be perfect for dancing in. I still dress up in the funky hippi clothes and I still wear my skirt, but not as much as I used to. I actually think I should try wearing them more often.

Stuart

Style eh? hmm, Lately i've been leaning towards skater actaully. I've been develaping my style for the last two year couse I used to have no style in the slightest. So for the last few years i've been slowly figureing out what would suit me... So I think I found it, Skater, my shirts mostly consist of T-shirts and short sleaved button shirt that I usaully wear with a beater. I weird baggy cargo, jean, and cord pants. I like baggy pants, they're nice a comfy!

 -NickV

comfort above all here. comfort and convinience. if it scratches or itches, i don't wear it. if i have to expend more effort than throwing it in the washing machine, i don't wash it.

besides that... i like hippie clothes. slight flares. tie-dye shirts. i like t-shirts with a 'ladies neck' not the baggy unfited kind. i like purple and dark green, not orange or pink. i don't like neon colors, or leather stuff, or things that are too revealing. i like chopsticks in my hair. it's comfortable, it's easy, and it looks good. and then i can take them out to eat with too.

i don't like baggy clothes or skirts on a normal basis. skirts either make it so i can't walk or they catch between my legs or they slide up when i sit down. i don't like baggy clothes because they make me feel completely blah, like i don't care what i'm doing. i like leggings, capris or shorts and a fitted t-shirt.

when i'm camping, it's a completely different story though. :) i don't bother about clothes when i'm living out of a suitcase. it's not worth it.

i'd like to go for a bit more unusual... if i can get it at a thrift store for under $5, who cares if only wear it once and decide i hate it? :)

--Marina

Lately I've been having a lot of fun mixing styles. Like, wearing preppy sneakers, hippie jeans with rainbow thingies on them, a sexy shirt and a punky metal necklace. Today: Ugg boots (no style, just cool) ugly strech jeans (preppy and style-clueless *wink*) long sleeve tie-dye shirt with flared sleeves and jewels around the neckline (very hippie) and green hair. (hellllll yeah.) My whole style is mix-and-match... without being too shocking. This is Santa Barbara after all. There's nothing new under the sun, but I can still do things no one else does. That applies to acting and writing too.

--Marina

style, hell yeah. hmmm. punk. with a little raver, goth, and cory thrown in. i spend lots of time on my cloths. thats for a few reasons. one, it makes people look at me and go "whoa, that guy's cool" even before they talk to me. and two, because i have nothing better to do. right now i'm wearing big baggy shorts i bought at the buffalo exchange in eugene, a cool brown thick leather belt i just bought yesterday at a thrift store for like a buck. and a t-shirt that says "hookt on fawnix reelly workt fur mee!" that i bought at the same thrift store, for 2 bucks. and my spike bracelet, and my green timex watch, and and red peice of string tied around my wrist by rachel, and the same hair i had at camp.. only messier 'cz i slept on it. and i don't know. my style is just what i like to wear. whats comfortable, and what i think looks interesting. yeah. Cory --------- I don't really have a style. If I do, it changes daily. Flannel shirts rock (even though becky still has my favorite one), as do jeans and big polarfleece sweaters... and hoodies. Hoodies are good. I don't like shorts very much, mainly 'cause I've got huge skater thighs, so I usually wear jeans or dance pants. I like skirts, but I'm really way too active to wear them much, so I don't.

  • giggles, remembering herself doing backhandsprings at the dance at Becky's-

in a tight fitting, ankle length skirt. hehehe* I like tank tops a lot and wear them whenever possible... belts are good... sandals are good... pretty much anything. I like jewelery, too, but I don't often remember to put any on, so half the time, I don't. I like tight fitting tops and jeans that I step on when I walk, and big baggy sweaters, and hiking boots, and.... and... and... all sorts of stuff. Like I said- I really don't have a trademark style, and if I do, it changes every day.

uhh. i've been thinking a lot about my style lately. since rachel came. seriously kids, it was like whatching another naomi traipse around, only.. a tall, skinny, beautiful naomi with long gorgeous hair.. uhh, yeah, so, i'm kinda on a binge right now when it comes to style. i've found what i like, for the most part, only.. it's not just one thing, or a set of things, it's just, y'know, stuff. like i've collected a good amount of thrift store t-shirts that i'm obsessed with. they're all super junior size, for like, little boys. i like my teenage mutant ninja turtle in training shirt, and my cubscout shirt. they fit me real tight, an that's how i like 'em. makes me look like i've got breasts. haha. uhh, i love my BIG?? pants. they're so.. BIG??. 'raver' pants. i really like 'em. they look super cute with my little shirts. at least, i think so. my momma just bought me some boots the other day. humongous black lace-up docs with a velcro strap around the ankle. they make me feel like G.I. Jane. but see, that's just the half of it. i also love my lei hip-hugger bellbottoms, they look all nice and clean and fit me perfect. and then there are all my nice quarter-sleeve shirts that i'm rather fond of, and my little white button up shirt, and my spaghetti strap itty bitty shirt that my sister an momma hate because it shows my 'cleavage'. they'll get over it. an i like my khakis, though they don't go with much. and my ratty lookin' army green pants. and then i've got my overalls! i love my overalls! they're green corduroy, and i especially like wearing tiny sleeveless shirts with them and interesting underwear, because they always show. so yeah. i can dress grungy, raver, preppy, hickster, you know. anything interesting goes! as far as jewelry, i wear lots of beaded and rubber bracelets that my friends have given to me over the years, and snap-bracelets, and other interesting little diddies that people have given to me. sentimental junk jewelry. i love candy necklaces, they make me so happy. and i just found out they sell them for 39 cents at the Superior Fina, my little corner store down the street, so now i can stock up on them. hallelujah. makeup, i like makeup, too. i like my glittery purple eyeliner and my sparkly green eyeshadow. and bindis! oh the joy of my life! round sparkly bindis are good at the corners of your eyes, sparkly teardrop bindis are good in between the eyes, as are felt bindis (rach gave em to me. they're super, and come in different colours!). yes yes yes. i feel that my hair adds a lot to my style, it's very very punky. short cut, spikey in the back, tends to be bright, electric traffic sign orange, but likes to change just to surprise/piss me off. it's very unique though, i think. and ooh, guess what? i can wear butterfly clips now because they finally have gone out of style. *hurrah!* ahem. lately i've grown very attatched to my black fuzzy cat ears, and i like to wear them as a headband. with my short hair, they make me look especially feline, i think, which can be a nice thing. i love my cowboy hat. oh how i love my cowboy hat. my crooked german glasses are always interesting, they're just these black thickframe fake glasses. i wish they made me look geeky, but people say they just make me look 'smart', but maybe that is the definition of geeky, i'm not sure. bra scissors are the extent of everyday practicality. i think that covers it. buttons are good to draw all over your skin, interesting buttons, you know, body art, very decorative. little stuffed love animals and small fresh-cut flowers are a great addition to any outfit! buy my catalogue! er.. uh, yeah, to top it all off, temporary tattoos. aw, hell yes. i like courtney's promiscuous tattoos, and my pokemon tattoos, and, well, anything you can get your little hands on. i wear em on my neck, and people always think they're hickeys. haha. good times. i like to dress up, i think it's fun, and i like to put on all my favourite things and go places like the mall or the bus station or the airport or plays and just be loud and obnoxious and laugh at people. it makes me feel so alive. yay style, er whatever you call it. but don't forget nakey-time!!!

indeed.

My style has changed a lot recently. I don't even know if it is anything in particular. Right now I am wearing a plain-ish dark green shirt that's quite worn, and undoubtedly faded since I got it. I am wearing $4 KIKWEAR cargo jeans that I got at Goodwill in Plano that have holes all around the ends, and are extremely comfortable. I have no socks or shoes on. I am wearing a bracelet that Alyson made, and a bracelet that Lev gave me, which has chinese characters on it (meaning long life, happiness, and I don't know what the third character means). I am wearing a ring that Lev gave me, which Gracie said was called an 'Irish wedding ring'. My hair is a little past my shoulders, and I don't really attempt to tame it or make it look good. I usually have it in a ponytail just to keep it out of my way, but also like it down. I do not wear makeup, and never have (and it doesn't look good on me anyways). I do not shave my legs, but it doesn't seem to make much a difference. I own way too many jackets/overshirts for my own good (and for the place I live), and love them all. I guess my look is sort of a natural or grunge sort of look. I have just got into experimenting with clothing styles, because of my friend (and co-worker) Brian, who has a real eye for style (and no, he's not gay! just kidding, I am not assuming that's what you thought...). I guess that's all I can really say.

Today, I feel like my style is changing. I still hunger for truly simple things. Also, I'm getting more sentimental about many things. I like them simply because I do, often.

My treasured items are a walking stick with a helix carved on it, made by Heather out of aspen wood, a bowl painted by Robyn, a sweater I've fixed a ton, my dancing shoes, my binder with my stories and writings in it, and the mug I painted.

--Aredridel

Style, eh... chopsticks. My style tends towards things that are simple, sophisticated/maybe somewhat antiquated (or conversely "high-tech"), and generally just a little out of place. When it's something you create or appreciate, rather than just follow blindly (style vs. fashion), I find style very interesting. The way my personal style/aesthetic effects my life goes way beyond what clothes I wear. Allow me to rant for a moment...

I eat everything with chopsticks. I often wear a bright red fedora, tipping it to passers by, and taking it off when addressing someone. (Part of the fun with a hat is all the little customs and gestures that come with it.) My old pocket watch[0] is finally working, and just needs a chain. I like cats (detest declawing). IRC is currently the best textual conversation medium... ICQ annoys me to no end, and I refuse to install AIM. I send e-mail, not letters, and I never print anything out, but I love paper; I crave a good hardcover book, and will fold a crane out of envelopes, napkins, concert programs, you name it.

I love verbosity and eloquence, but use weird pronunciations such as "soytenly" and dig outdated slang. I prefer British spellings like "theatre" and "humour", and I'm training myself to refer to flashlights as torches and elevators as lifts. Some of my favorite fonts include Treefrog, almost anything Lucida (especially Handwriting and Calligraphy), and I still have a little soft spot for Apple's Chicago. I like the set that I pulled the Chinese characters at the corner of this page from as well, but I wouldn't call it a proper font. Commas and parenthesis are life necessities; semi-colons are underappreciated[1].

My clothes are almost completely solid tones. I rarely wear patterns, and never logos or corporate slogans. I generally wear t-shirts and button-up shirts left unbuttoned and with the sleeves rolled up. Most of my clothes are dark colors, mostly blue, green, or black. I'm used to being mildly unobtrusive in manner and appearance, and can easily go undetected in a room.

The exceptions to both the muted color scheme and the unobtrusiveness are my bright red fedora (and a buttoned shirt of the same hue), and my white lab coat. I love the lab coat... people are used to respecting/listening to someone in a lab coat, and for a few brief seconds it commands some respect. Then people realize that I am neither a doctor nor a scientist, at which point they become either distrustful, confused, or entertained. To go with the lab coat, I'm trying to locate a pair of aviator's goggles, and some mad scientist-type glovesthe big rubber kind that flare at the wrists. I like the way the lab coat flaps behind me when I'm on bicycle, and I think this would complete the look.

My footwear of choice includes sandals or my excellent pair of steel toed boots, and when terrain and weather permit, nothing. I've given up plain old shoes for good, as I find them pointless, uncomfortable, and boring.

CD's/mp3s in my music collection currently include a lot of They Might Be Giants and similar groups (Moxy Fruvous), a fair amount of classical (especially Russian composers), techno (mostly older computer geek stuff like Kraftwerk), and some sixties "hippy" stuff, plus a lot of miscellaneous bits that don't fall into any major categories. I just switched the music I was listening to from "The Best of the James Bond Theme Songs" (orchestral.. heheh) to Morcheeba's "Big Calm".

A lot of things influence "my" style. My sense of irony/sarcasm/humour certainly contributes. Having been raised by highly literate parents (my mother is a librarian) has contributed a lot. I like the simplicity/elegance of many eastern cultures. Appreciation/nostalgia for the 80's (and current) hacker/cyberpunk aesthetics occasionally effect my choice of clothing. The camp crowd have influenced me too... not so much in effecting what my style is, but in providing a place where a wide range of personal styles are apparent and appreciated.

  • Who are you? ~Erin, who's curiosity has been stirred
  • Heh, I forgot to sign this didn't I... -Platypus

Simple explanations of a complex world. Solid colors, analog watches, and never, ever, ever, using multiple exclamation points or question marks. Not trying to be cool. Being 'quiet'. Music with complex orchestrations but hummable themes; subtle lyrics but screamable choruses; familiar instruments playing unusual tunes. Things that ease you into another state of mind preferably a calmer, faster, more interesting & concentrated one. Self-awareness: anything that talks about itself, anything that wraps information and exformation around each other. Things like chopsticks and Macintoshes and outhouses. Humor like P. G. Wodehouse's, Terry Pratchett's, or my grandpa's. Cult thingies like Monty Python (and Macintoshes again). Programming in languages like Perl and Lisp. Green. Black and white. More stuff I'll think of later.

I like to think of my style as everything and just about anything. I always wear something that's me. I have about a dozen bracelets. 2 rings, a necklace that I love. right now. I'm wearing a pair of guys shorts, and a red wife-beater. my hair is down, which is not usual. because ever since my hair got long enough, it's been up in pony tails/buns/pig tails. I like to be comfortable. baggy jeans, and tank tops. long flowing skirts. stuff that rides on my hips. no make-up...completely natural. my style is me. I may dress similar to other people. but with whatever I'm wearing, I make it me. even if it's just with my necklace. I make it me. and that's my style. -Lydia R.

My style? Hmm. I'm not sure. It isn't something I can describe. It changes day to day. It isn't something I think about it. Lets see ... what did I wear today ... but it doesn't really count, because I was going to work and had to go by dress code. I guess I woreah, the maroon type pants that I wore at camp, black boots with silver buckles, and a button down fake leathery looking type shirt. I did have slight makeup on...but that is a rarity. I don't know . . . "my style" is basically what I wore at camp for those that saw me. (Jonah commented on my styleeeeeee!) Bright stuff, sometimes, a lot of black and purple too. My favorite outfit the last couple of days thoughfrom top to bottomblack shirt with white underlay in the front that is semi-see-through in the front and very see through in the back. A short grey skirt with a bunch of huge pockets and funky zippers. Black and purple striped tights from the halloween section at walmart. Huge black boots with big heels. (gets odd looks around town. Little kid walks up to me..."mommy, mommy, look at her socks!)

And I would also like to highly commend... drum roll please ... Summer on her totally, unbelievably rad sense of style. That girl can dress!

~Jasmine~

Green expresses me.

I look good in it, too. That's always a plus.

I like fairly simple stuff for everyday wear I just can't be bothered with a dress or skirt or really fancy stuff most of the time. The most makeup I ever wear for ordinary things is concealer and lip gloss. I wear simple, comfortable pants jeans, khakis, brown corduroy. I want a good pair of tall boots. I like tight shirts preppy buttondowns, kids' T-shirts, tank tops, whatever. Plastic bracelets are always good. I take pride in the (disgustingly few, but I'm working on it) unique and/or eccentric things in my wardrobe - my real, old Boy Scouts of America shirt, for one.

If I had more courage when it comes to flaunting traditional style, I'd wear medieval and Renaissance clothing. Vests that lace up the front over blouses, mostly I'd have to keep my pants, thank you very much! I might let myself do this this fall, once I actually sew myself some vests and blouses. I want some more fairy-ish pieces of clothing, too one or two long flowy skirts or dresses, flowery/grassy/glittery wreathes, wings. I'll work on making those, too.

I love reasonable prices. I can't remember the last time I bought something new/full price, excepting shoes. My favorite store here would probably be Limbo, with Top Drawer second. Anyone who comes to Austin should definitely try to hop by Limbo! It rocks!

-- Emma

why thank you jasmine. :-)

my style is important to me. i like to express and use all kinds of things that make me feel in my element. my journal covers are decorated with mirrors and phrases and collages. my room is messy and artistic, one whole wall is collaged and there are paintings and posters on the other walls. i make art out of favorite pictures for computer background screens. i make mix tapes to play for the right room atmosphere. i display pictures and letters and books creatively.

and perhaps most importantly or noticeably of all, i dress in clothes that i adore. i never buy expensive clothes when i want to look formal i go to ross dress for less and buy things for 15-20 bucks. most of the time i shop at salvation army, goodwill, savers, and buffalo exchange. i look for, in no particular order:

  • wide leg jeans, particularly jncos (generally the highest quality / best style for me)
  • little boys t-shirts -- "el protector", "clinton for governor", "sunkist", etc... anything tiny, soft, and funny.
  • corduroy anything, i love it. crazy vintagey dresses and jumpsuits,
  • preferably reminiscent of an era i love -- the 20s, the 50s, the 70s...
  • jackets and coats. they're one of the easiest things to find at a thrift store. i have a small collection of cool ones.
  • skirts of all sorts and lengths. i love skirts. hats. whooo hats.
  • shoes, particlarly boots.

color-wise i'm all over the map i like brights and black and shiny things. i'm really just super eclectic. i buy cheap clothes that i love and that fit me. that's all that matters to me.

I wear whatever's comfy and I like a mixture of classic, preppy and sporty clothes. I love my:

  • navy blue cords
  • light pink stretchy blouse
  • timberlands(boots) and sketchers sneakers
  • cap sleeved tees from Limited Too and Gap-right now
  • drawstring shorts
  • wool poncho thing(you know what I mean)I bought
  • flaired jeans with the cargo pockets
  • long,jersey knit cargo skirt
  • pony tail-I have all kinds of scrunchies, ribbons, and beaded holders and one with feathers and pony beads hanging from it that I bought from an arts and crafts festival

I also love turtle necks, pea coats(don't own one though:-), fair isle sweaters, bell(flaired sleeves), and shiny jeans. Kind of an odd assortment.
