Why do some hyper links have blue stars next to them?

• the pretty blue stars mean there is a (or more than one) message board post on that page. i think? -franny

When people who have logged in are listed in Recentchanges, it would be nice if the mailto link would point to foobar at nbtsc.org instead of foobar at nbtsc.org Cheers, dYsk

Um, on my AllSoRad page (EthanMoses), someone posted some stuff about him also being an Ethan Moses, and he also posted some stuff on the message board about me "sounding like a pussy". Is it possible for you to delete those mesage board posts?

darnit... Everyonce in a while i keep hitting this bloody page called "aaaaaaahhhhhh", and it has the copy of my rant about Shippy. I had problems with it the other night, but now this page is randomly coming up when i am searching wiki for totally unrelated subjects.

... and i cant edit the KnowItAll page at the moment..

Okay... on PoetryMarathon, I wrote a poem, and I guess someone else was editing the same page at the same time, because it's gone now. What's up with that? I know it's happened to Heather a couple times, and me a couple times on other pages... is there any way to make that stop?

That's actually fairly easy to deal with, as long as everything is working correctly. When that happens, have it show changes and then show strikeout. Whatever you wrote that disappeared should show up. Paste it into a word program, and then paste it back onto the Wiki page. That's the only solution I've been able to find. Good luck! That only works if whatever was written over your post was the last time that page was edited. But if the page has been edited more than once since then, I think whatever was written is gone for good. This is a good reason to save poems and whatnot elsewhere on your computer. :) That didn't work. I've resigned myself to the fact that it's lost and gone forever. (dreadful sorry, Clementine...) Thanks, though! or sometimes, if you go back in your web brouser, what you wrote will still be there, so copy, hit edit agine, and add your thing to the page agine, makeing sure not to earase what the other person wrote.

This has happened twice recently, with amazingly small proximity between the two incidents, on the poetry marathon. This has led to no little perturbment, anxiety, and grief! The "Show Strikeouts" feature always takes me to NBTSWikiWiki no mater what page I try to use it on. ~z~ 03-25-01

The Footnote Feature isn't working on some pages.

there's been random dorky lines around the pages and through words that aren't supposed to have lines through them.

Some pages give a weird "took too long" error and are slow to load.

the EditCopy? thing won't work on pages with apostrophes in the name, like Don'tQuoteThat... it just cuts off at the apostrophe.

Several sigs don't work.

Mmm, that shouldn't be a problem! All you need is an nbtsc.org username and you get free web space. If you need help, I can walk you through it email me or snag me on IRC. Nick can help too, and a few others, too. Ok, so I was wondering how do you add & get to & make the pages for the "squeeze" that person, page? ~Selena

Just head on over to "GiveUsASchwodge". is there any way you can link wiki and the nbtsc.org email so you can log into both at once? that would be really neat...

That's already in the plans. Is there a way to easily make a system that will send you emails when a page changes? Like alot of web boards have. -The LHF (Who knows nothing about computers. *grin*)

You'll want to use your own page for that instead of Wiki (though of course you'll link to it here). 1: Get an ftp client. 2: Log in to nbtsc.org with the name and password you use for LogIn and webmail. 3: Stick the picture in your web directory. You'll definitely want to ask someone on IRC to walk you through this. Charlie
