Mel! Mel! Mel! Heh, heh. Mel is a great person to just talk with. I enjoy her company to no end and the "person entering" noise on AIM makes me jump to see if it's Mel. I'm counting off the days until Mel comes and visits me. Only 9 more days. Hell yes. Anyway, I love Mel, I like Mel, I wuv Mel, whatever. Mel is just....great.

Mel is an awesome, hugable gal to hang out with. I have fond memories of sitting downstairs in Lotus' kitchen at the 2001 Halloween Party, leaning against the cabinets, and eating peanut butter along with roasted pumpkin seeds, with a sleeping Mel on my lap (however, of course she woke up when she heard the word "peanut butter" mentioned.) She makes me laugh all the time, and is so beautiful. I got to know her incredibly well in just those 6 days. Unfortunately she lives so far away from me. She has taught me the fine art of which peanut butter brands are the best. Love ya gurl. -Mike

And I mean that. But I'm in the same room with you now, so hopefully I'll be able to amend that soon. Wow. You have so much spark girl. And sweetness and intelligence and wisdom. I understand peanut butter worship. I mean, okay, I don't adhere to that sect, but when I eat pizza I'm right in her shoes! Pizza with peanut butter would just be wrong, though. Especially in my shoes. But Mel is just right, even better than the second coming! If I had a little Mel to put in my pocket and talk with, I would let a thousand frogs hop through my blueberry pancakes.

Mel is so great... she's bright and gorgeous and sweet as Dawn's hot cocoa. She'd better get to the party or I'll walk to California with Franny and open a can of whoop ass. *nods to self* And she's obsessed with peanut butter. so she's awesome. Mel rocks my world. *kisses Mel on the cheek* love you, pretty girl.

Mel is cool!! Yay Mel! She is awsome to talk to on AIM and her posts on the nbtsc community journal are hilarious and much fun to read. Her LJ picture is purdy. And she likes peanut butter;) I can't wait to get to know her at camp!!! ~FrannyIsRad~

• okay that is very very bad. Now I have met Mel and she rocks my world and if I have no way to see her in the next year I will frickin' walk to california. Mel has a very comfortable lap and she gave me hugs so many times in the day at camp and it made me very happy. We were in the same cabin and a few nights she and Ona and I sat up in our beds talking because no one else was in the cabin yet and interesting conversations just seem to happen when Mel's around. I'm very comfortable around her and feel like she would never judge me or laugh at me and would listen seriously to naything I had to say. We walked around at the airport with tape stuck to our foreheads and we sat and were depressed together when it was time to leave and I love her clothes and her voice and just her whole being!

• franny shall now proceed to post again because she misses her melmel. mel is the latter that comes in the mail with 'the wonderful esteemed, ravishing madam franny bannen' on it and makes me giggle almost as hard as all the post office people must have. if they read those kinds of things. mel is 'winter' being sung by 12 people 'round a piano while half of them cry onto the sheet music but it doesn't matter because they all know the words by heart. mel is my goddes, my hero (and my wife!) i love you mels. -frans

May no frogs hop in your blueberry pancakes! Peace, love, and squishy peas! Mel is a very strange person. She has been known to shout random words that make no sense and she gets very wired on candy late at night. You are forewarned. Oh yes, and she's really never had squishy peas, so maybe that's why she's so obsessed with them. All in all she's fairly rad, I would say. Oh and worshipping peanutbutter IS NOT A BAD THING!

May your peanutbutter never be involed in a nuclear war! Mel is funny as hell! Mel kickassum! She likes cool music! She's very random... Which is a good thing! What's more, she is a very cool person to talk to. We have had many interesting conversations and I can't wait till camp and talk to her in person!

Mel is really amazing. She's so pretty, and she's funny (and gullible... do you have any tampons I could borrow??), and she's got the coolest pants! Mel was an awesome person to have in my advisee group, and I can'tcan'tcan'tcan't wait to see her again! Oh... and she gives really super hugs. I love you, Mel!!

fantastic! I first met her when she was zooming around with a talking box of Junior Mints (who I dubbed, geniusly, Junior) in the Eugene airport. She is gorgeous, hilarious, and all around wicked cool. Maggie

I have happy thoughts inside my head when I think of walking into the lodge for breakfast and feeling all dead and sleepy and then there's a gorgeous kooky babe with a huge smile all smiling and giving me a big swooshy hug and I love Mel much, the sweetness.
