tiffany's list
saw this page on the recentchanges page, thought i'd give you the songs that i esp. like, that i have downloaded from napster (which isn't many):
Britney Spears Stronger (one of the *VERY LIMITED NUMBER* of britney songs i like)
Backstreet Boys Shape Of My Heart (see Britney, replace her name for bsb. you get the picture)
Boston Public Theme Music
Charlotte Church Just Wave Hello (wow. what a (soprano) voice.)
Christina Aguilera I Turn To You (the gal is a goddess)
Yo-Yo Ma Prelude to Bach's Cello Suite 1 (chilling. I can just see the whole west wing scene in my head when i hear this)
Duncan Sheik Barely Breathing; Acoustic Version (one of my favorite songs; this is a different version then i'm used to)
Des'ree You Gotta Be (I am not sure where I originally heard this, but I love it! One of the first songs I downloaded)
Jars Of Clay Flood (first heard it maybe 5 years ago when a (now ex) penpal sent me a mix tape with it on it. Now every time I hear it, it reminds me of Brent.. (due to him singing it on the mix tape he sent me) :))
Jewel Hands (see britney and bsb)
Kendall Payne Supermodels; 2 different versions (These two versions are probably the most recent additions to my library. I first heard [some of the] song during the opening credits for Popular, but once I downloaded it, it's one of my 'girl power' songs. :))
Mariah Carey Hero (I love singing this song. But I am never gonna be as good as mariah is with it)
Pachabel Canon in D (one of the few classical pieces i love. i love the whole genre, but I don't know it very well / have many *specific* songs i love)
n'sync somewhere, someday (one of their best songs. along with 'this i promise you' and some others... this paticular song comes from the pokemon soundtrack (but it doesn't have anything to do with it) which my bro owns)
n'sync music of my heart (another one of their great songs. gloria's great. and i thought the song went quite well with the movie)
Once & Again Theme Music (without a doubt, my favorite theme music for a tv show (song is obviously Supermodels))
Ricky Martin She Bangs (gyrating hips! nuff said.)
third eye blind semi charmed life (never really knew who this was by until i noticed my brother owned a teb cd, and this song was on it)
tupac changes (powerful song. the first music video i've ever seen; it was Total Request Live in jan of '99)
West Wing Theme Music (great music to go with a INCREDIBLY AWESOME show)
Vanessa Mae Reflection (Mulan is one of my fave movies, the soundtrack one of my faves as well..(back in the summer of 1998) the song Reflection, sung by Lea Salonga on the soundtrack, it one of my all time favorites, in fact, i've sung it at one of the talent shows both years i've gone to camp. also on the soundtrack is the christina aguilera version, which is how i found out about her (christina) BEFORE the whole 'genie in a bottle' song/video + her cd coming out (that was july/august 1999).... ANYWAY, on one of my dad's very few cds i saw this song. i listened to it. and was again amazed. vanessa is really talented...)
vertical horizon you're a god (i first heard of the band through the song 'everything you want'. i bought the cd, only got a chance to listen to the first three songs. you're a god was one of them, and they just happen to release it as their next single (after everything you want)..)

I'll put one "recent favourite" up per musical genre, two if they're really good, I won't be so presumptious as to tell you that they are the best songs in their respective categories, but I'm warning you THEY ARE AWESOME.
